The first four threads in the Hanger’s Forum contain just about everything you will ever need to know, and then some, as far as hanging. However, a lot of this info, if not most of it, is related to the Bib, and Bib type hanging (clamp). I would like to propose a thread dedicated to Vacuum Hanging. A one place stop that members can contribute tips and tricks that they have learned over their vacuum hanging journey.

I will start; I am using Monkey Bars heavy hanger. I have been hanging with it now for about one month. I tried hanging with it before, but couldn’t do it. That is until I discovered wrapping my glans with no hurt paper tape. I do have bib hanging experience, and I have to say that I prefer the Vac. I don’t want this thread to be a debate as to which is better, just a good information sharing thread. I have about 5 months of total hanging experience. So far I have gained 3/8Th’s of an inch in BPFSL, but nothing in EL.

My routine; I try to hang 6 days a week, for a minimum of 2hrs a day. That’s 4 sets at 30 minutes each. Once or twice a week I will manually stretch before my routine to help the fatigue along. Also, once or twice a week I will try to do split days. So 3 or 4 - 30 minute sets in the morning, then repeating that at night. I use heat throughout and I am currently hanging with 11lbs.

Some of my challenges; I would like to incorporate jelqing as well, but my dick just cant seem to handle both right now. I suffer from bad PI’s when I do this. Learning to wrap with tape has been a god send…I have not gotten any of the dreaded water blisters, or even any fluid build up. However, now and then I do get these shooting pains right at the tip of my penis. And I developed what looks like a hickey at the tip of my penis. Also, it looks like hanging with heavier weight is going to be a challenge, or there is going to be a learning curve to it, as I get slippage from my hanger.

1. Vac-hanger

2. Started about a year ago, but stopped a couple months in due to laziness. Planning on starting up again after finals.

3. Bib

4. 1/4-1/2 inch, which I lost after stopping (laziness).

5. 2 layers of johnson&johnson (ouch-free) surgery tape on my glans, then I also use the constriction sleeve.

6. The tape works like a charm and the constriction sleeve is a must for vac-sensitive people like me! I also like the low weight/more time approach.

7. Anywhere from 2-6 sets of 20-40 mins, whatever hit the right amount of fatigue without taking away EQ.

8. Start off slow and look for good EQ.

I’ll second that. I tried to stick with my pumping when I was hanging, and I would lose EQ fast when I did both.

Hey Random…I actually got the tape thing from you, so thanks for talking about it. Are you using a Vac from Monkey Bar as well? I use the constriction sleeve, but the problem that I’m having is that it slides up and bunches up at the tip when I hang any more than 10lbs. Do you have this issue as well? Also, how much weight are you hanging with? Thanks for your input!

No problem! And yes, I’m using MB’s vac. To be honest I’ve never used over 7 pounds with the vac and usually like to stay around 5 pounds. I’ve never had that problem yet, but maybe I will when I increase my weight. I’ll send ironaddict69 a PM to reply to this thread, he hangs more weight with the vac than anybody I know (something like 22 pounds). You may want to check out his progress thread to see if he mentioned it. He’s also gone back-forth with the vac/bib and concluded that he likes the vac better as well (although he wasn’t sure at first).

When it bunches up do you get the glans hickie worse, or what happens? What sleeve are you using? It seems like the red one is pretty great, although I don’t need it yet because I’ve been sticking to low weights. Also what do you use for heat?

How much is a vac and can I make one or buy it.I seen some pics with one it looks pretty cool.

Today I saw I wonder how good it is.

1. Monkeybars
2. Consistently for 3 months, before I never stuck to it because of laziness?
3.Tried a bib?
4. Not measured, and won’t for a while but my flaccid has defiantly gained
5. Micro pore tape and bandage/plaster tape.
6. I don’t put the sleeve over the hole, I put a strip I cut from another old sleeve on the hole, I find this easier to get the air out without moving the sleeve.
7. 7 days a week, 45 mins AM+45 mins PM and if there’s time another 45 minutes pm. I also wet jelq and kegel.
8. Getting your wrap right is a must, I hang over 12lbs without a problem and my glans now come out fine. Iv had 1 blister from upping the weight to soon and not wrapping! Get the wrap right and you can hang longer and more.

This is incredible. I remember hearing about blisters in the beginning and was too scared to try vacuum hangers, but now I hear this. Do you use theraband and just rap it tight around your head?

Wrapping in a spiral from a 1/4 down my shaft up to the tip of my head then place 2 strips of tape in a cross pattern across the tip.

Then I do the same with this

Iv tryed 15lbs before and had no problem, I know iron has hung 20lbs before but possibly with red sleeves.
Iv only used blue so far but I’m placing an order for the reds soon. I Hang BTC but I also feel it on my whole dick, I can’t recommend the vac enough.

Ya it gets worse when that happens. I think I may have fixed that to some degree tho. I put a hair tie right behind the vacuum head. That ensures a tighter grip on the head, and less slippage seems to occur. I am hanging with 10lbs right now with no problems, so we will see what happens when I increase weight again. The hair tie is not very tight, just tight enough to ensure a good seal. Right now I am using the blue sleeve, but I think I will try the red sleeve when I go up in weight.

One thing that I am learning from this thread is that it looks like people are double wrapping. You put on two layers of tape, plus use the constriction sleeve. Kimc uses two layers as well, but two different kinds of tape. Have you had issues with only one layer? I also started using double layers and feel that I do get better support that way.

As far as the heat, I use it as a warm up, and I also use it for about the first 10 to 15 minutes of each set. I use a heating pad and just wrap it around my dick. From everything I’ve read, heat could be a secret ingredient to help gains. I know that it does seem to help my BPFSL after my workouts.

1. I use Monkeybar’s vac extender cap with two sleeves.
2. Started 16 months ago. For the last 8 months I have been mostly using a bib, but have been adding in more vac sets lately to mix things up, and as a kind of ADS.
3. Bib starter hardcore is my main hanger.
4. Gains
5. I tape with 3M micropore tape. I place two pieces parallel to my urethra opening. Then I tape two long pieces tightly around the circumference of the glans making sure to tightly pass over my Frenulum. I then use wider tape and spiral back up the shaft, pulling excess skin back, about 1.5”. I then place a small piece across the urethra opening, which is all I need to remove to piss.

I have built and experimented with a number of caps. I have found that the tighter the fit of the cap, the less air, the better for me.

I cut up and use small makeup remover sponges to pack my taped glans as tightly as possible in the cap.

I have found that constriction sleeves cause more problems for me than they solve. They seemed to always slip slightly which would cause the tip of my glans to be squeezed.

I have found that when sleeves become stretchy, it makes vac hanging harder. I typically use two sleeves to reduce the stretch.

I always wash my shaft with hot soapy water before putting on the sleeves. I think this removes excess skin oil and moisturizer etc. I think this might prolong the life of the sleeves.

Anyone have any other tips for prolonging the life of the sleeves?
