I’ve been searching this forum for over an hour and I cannot find the answer to my question. (Although I know it IS hiding here somewhere)

1) What are the recommended usage times for the Vacu-Hanger and VacExtender as an ADS?

By “usage times” I’m referring to the amount of time each device can be safely worn on the penis.

2) Also, how much “break” time do you recommend when using as an ADS?

To put this all into perspective, I work a desk job. I would like to get a nice stretch all day long. The only privacy I have is the bathroom. So if I need to re-adjust anything, I can do it in the bathroom.

Generally people seem to feel that stretchers should be worn at low tension for 6 - 8 hours per day. This may not be right for everyone.

The strap/clamp/noose stretchers need to be taken off to prevent the penis from getting cold due to lack of circulation, for at least 15 minutes to get circulation going normally again. Some can go for up 2 hours before a break, others need to take more frequent breaks. This depends on you, how tight you are wrapping, how high you put the tension, etc. The main thing is not to let the penis get cold or discolored (cold penis = bad; blue penis = very bad).

The vacuum type stretcher is less problematic with regard to circulation, with people reporting comfort and fewer circulation problems for longer periods of time. Basically the danger there is fluid build up on the head; though some have found the right tension and/or use of taping or the compression sleeve will prevent this side effect and allow wearing it indefinitely. Although the consensus seems to be that you give yourself a break every few hours anyway when you have to pee or whatever.

MrTips wrote about his use of the PeniMaster broken into three shorter sessions throughout the day: morning, afternoon, and early evening. In this post he made reference to the PI thread and paying close attention to his PI’s. I think that is good practice regardless of what you are using: stretcher, hanger, pump, clamp, etc.

Typically this type of device is used as an adjunct to other things. The ADS is most useful when combined with hanging or pumping etc. The tension should be comfortable and enough to keep the penis in an extended state while it heals from a hanging session or after pumping.

When used on its own, the first session can be at higher tension (to get a good stretch), and subsequent sessions are then backed off to a comfortable level to keep it extended.

This is my reader’s digest take on the posts here that I’ve read.

I neglected to say that when using the Vacu-Hanger (vs. the stretcher), that it is like other types of hanging devices, except that many feel the device places tension on the penis in such a way that less weight is needed/tolerated.

Similar concerns about fluid build-up on the head have been discussed, with discussion about how firmly to seat the head within the cup, use of the constriction sleeve, or medical tape, to avoid this.
