I’m 7.5” bp and at a plateau and so I decided to ramp up the routine from 3x20 minute sessions every day to 6x20 minute sessions plus making a point to stretch every chance I get. Over the past month since doing this I have gained nothing in length but have gone from 5-9/16” in girth to 5.75”. I don’t care about getting thicker, I want to get longer! (grrrr). Man, if I could have added that to my length I’d be in heaven right now.

Do fowfers whenever you sit (lazy-ass stretches is another name for them, I believe). The doubling of hanging time really ought to help fatigue you. What angles are you hanging now? You’ve probably exhausted lig gains if you started with those, although if subsequently you made tunica gains perhaps you could go back and make lig gains again, according to some members here.

You’re not alone, I seem to have made girth gains from hanging whilst getting nothing in length. Strangely, the girth gains I made are where the hanger is attached, there is a bulge there of 1/8”. Weird.

I’ve noticed the same bulge where the hanger is attached as well, shaft seems to be much thicker at that point for a while after hanging.

hellu - I’ve been hanging straight down but for the past week I’ve been alternating 3 sessions straight down and 3 straight up. Definitely more fatigue. I was starting at 20 pounds and working down with only 3 sets total and now I’m starting a 12.5 and working down.

I asked my wife if she noticed a difference and she said I felt I was getting longer. I asked if I felt thicker and she said “no”. Kind of strange that her perception is backwards.

Sounds like you’re on the right track. You might even try hanging exclusively at high angles for a while, all 6 sets. Your persistence is amazing. Keep it up and surely you’ll gain length eventually!
