Trouble hanging!

Hi I’m just wondering if anyone can give me any help or tips on hanging correctly. It’s been a year since I have been experimenting with jelqing and have now decided to give hanging a go. I have a Bib hanger and a homemade hanger which I have been using for a few weeks but I just can’t seem to correctly hang without getting extremely bad pressure on my head whilst hanging and ending up with it being sore and painful!! Any ideas on where I could be going wrong? because its very frustrating and puts me off hanging but I feel it’s going to be my best option for gaining!

Have you tried holding your head while putting the hanger on. You can also check this out. It helped me out big time. How I attach the hanger!

The Bib hanger definitely has a learning curve.

I`ve hung for a total of three periods in my PE career, and it is only this last time that I feel I have mastered the hanger and even now I don`t get it completely perfect every set, but I usually hang every set for 20 comfortable minutes.

The thread TuggerJoe links to was written by me and definitely contains some of the clues that I feel helped me.

If there is pressure on your head it is because you are hanging with a plug (blood in the head keeps the hanger in place) and not by grasping the internals and forming shoulders.

I know exactly what you mean, I’ve been messing around for over 1.5 weeks now It just takes time and practice to learn what doesn’t hurt.

Nearly every fucking time I put it on, after wrapping in the right place and pulling the foreskin backwards and squeezing the blood out of glans and making sure it’s all straight , as soon as the weight goes on, it slips down just under the glans and hurts like fuck.

It’s too much pain to continue so I take it back off and repeat, It takes about 1 hour to get started sometimes.

I have learnt today for the first time what helps.

I put the bandage rap on one inch behind the glans then when I use the theraband I wrap that half an inch behind the bandage, this helps when the weight goes on, there is extra softness on the glans, and also the most important part, the foreskin rolls forward over the glans, I’m not sure if this is the correct way to do it, but it’s the only way that doesn’t hurt like fuckerty.

The foreskin should not be retracted while wrapping. Perhaps you can pull it slightly back to avoid too much skin stretch, but retracting it completely is not correct.

And then the main thing that you guys are missing. I hope Thunder allows me using capital letters for this one:


Attach the hanger, push your penis down and tighten 20% or so. At this point, pulse push the hanger forward (drag in the straps). A light tug. If you are grasping correctly, the hanger will slide forward a little, form shoulders and stop before the head. You will definitely know when you do this correctly.

Tighten to 50% and pulse push now and then on the way to make sure the hanger is attached correctly. 70% and pulse push. Then all the way to 80-90%. Leave some tightening for further into the set. Give the hanger a good stretch now to make sure it is properly attached.

Since you have pulse pushed (with increasing force as you are tightening further), you know that the hanger is attaching properly and when you put the weights on there will be no surprise.

What you guys are doing now is that you attach the hanger and tighten down all the way without pulse pushing before you attach the weights. Of course will the hanger slide towards the head. It is not grasping the internals properly.

Ren you say about not retracting the foreskin, but when we see people do hanging and when they wrap, they retract the foreskin. Is it supposed to slide full back over the glans when in the final hanging position? I find this cushions the glans more and protects against the pressure of the hanging force.

When I hang, my foreskin is completely covering my glans.

When wrapping though, I may retract the foreskin half-way in order to smooth loose skin towards the base.

I`m honestly not sure if it is that big of an issue. I think the main part you guys are missing is the pulse push.
