Where can I get some more theraband wrap?? During this learning curve I’ve wasted some of it and want to use some for traction wrapping.

Also, no matter how loose I wrap the theraband or how much sweatshirt material I use beneath the theraband on my wrap to add girth, I’m still getting a fair amount of purpling & cooling in the head. I feel the pull on my ligs a great deal but at the end of each session I have a purple dark bubble on the head of my unit, what else can I be missing?

This is getting a little frustrating but I won’t stop trying till I figure this booger out.

You should definitely let Bib or others more experienced than I give a definitive answer to your problem, but I couldn’t help weighing in with my own input when I read about the purplish bubble at the end of your unit. So here are my findings to date:

If I have even the REMOTEST hint of a hard-on, I have a much greater tendency to get the swelling buildup of fluid around the urethral “lips” — I think this is probably the same as your “bubble.” So here are my tricks to prevent it.

1. Obviously, try to hang without a hard-on. This isn’t always easy. For me, sometimes it means hanging with a “more-or-less” flaccid dick for about three to five minutes, and then REMOVING the hanger, and putting it back on thirty seconds later. Usually by then the wrapping has stretched a bit (thus eliminating its constrictive, erection-producing capacity), and just removing the hanger for a sec lets the blood out. I usually am completely flaccid at this point.

2. If I’m having problems with too much blood in the head, I position the hanger a bit higher… at least this takes some of the pressure off the head, and seems to leave my urethra unswollen…

3. When the hanger is on, and even when all seems to be going well, always reach down and periodically sqeeze the head between your fingers. For me, this is a great way to check on what’s happening. I feel for three things:
a. temperature. Warmish-cool is as low as I let it go.
b. sensation; the moment it begins to feel numb, off the hanger goes.
c. “squashiness”; the more of the squashy feeling I get, the better. It means there’s not too much blood trapped in the head with nowhere to go. If the head underneath the hanger feels big, swollen and taut, in my experience that’s a bad sign.

4. Once I do remove the hanger, if I notice any “bubble effect” (which I usually don’t any more) I immediately rub in my cocoa butter cream (helps with stretch marks anyway) and lightly work up an erection. In my experience, this has ALWAYS made the bubble/swollen lips/fluid phenomenon go away within just a few minutes. Seriously, I wouldn’t lie to you.

Well, you could be using too much weight right now. But, more than likely, it is how the hanger is interracting to the wrap. In general, the less wrap the better. Of course, you have to have enough wrap to provide the correct amount of girth. But also, the looser the hanger, the more discoloration. How much do you tighten the hanger? Does it slide all the way down to the head?

Hey Bib,

I appreciate you taking the time from your day to help us guys out. Ok, it is….1. No, the Theraband hasn’t broken, but I’ve cut it in 2 or 3 different ways to try the right wrap. One wrap is cut 1.5” wide and 6”-8” in length, for spiral type wrapping. Then ( this is when I first got the bib ) I didn’t know what I was doing so I cut 2 strips 1.5” wide and 4” in length, kind of a top & bottom strip.

Now what I’m doing is I have the wrap in 3” wide & 6” in length. I thought this would help to keep the bib from sliding forward. Also when I wrap I have a piece of sweatshirt material the same size as the wrap possibly for added girth.

If I don’t tighten the bib enough then it slides forward to where the foreskin envelopes the head. If I tighten it alot & I mean alot, then the bib still moves forward but not as much but thats when the purpleing in the head begins. I try as much as possible to make sure there is little or no blood in the head when attaching the bib.

When I do the wrap, I extend my penis with my left hand and wrap from the base up, very loosely with my right hand. When I think I have the wrap correct, then I take a small piece of tape to keep the loose end together. ( BTW, the wrap is placed over the sweatshirt material which is in a loose manor as well ) Then I place the bib to the very base of the penis and tighten as much as necessary.

From what I’ve read about the wrap, it looks like it covers roughly 3-4” of the flacid length anyway so that’s why I decided to go with the 3” wide wrap. Seems like my best lig pulls are when I’m hanging 10 lbs but the prupleing and cooling gets to be too much, even with 5 lbs. I will submit my pics this Sunday for you to see.

Can I ask you, where did you learn to wrap like that? When you get more wrap, why not try the regular way of wrapping and hanger attachment, and see if it is better.
