I have read that Bib mainly used the black Thera-band. I think black is .098” thick. My Bib shipped with a greyish Thera-band which measures .025” thick. Some suggest silver which is .125” thick. Obviously black and silver are much thicker than what I have been using.
I just ordered tan which is 0.031, (closest to what I have, which is wearing out) but if I should be using black or silver, I would really like to know. Maybe what I have been using is not as comfortable as something thicker.
I use 24” of 3” kling bandage under .025” thick Thera-band cut 1.5” X 21”. I just hung 16.25 lbs somewhat comfortably but it has taken months to find the right wrapping method to improve the comfort to this level. The Bib still seems to ride up to my glans instead of “gripping” internal structures.

My questions are: What colors/thicknesses are others using? Who has experimented with different colors/thicknesses and what was the results?

Try just using the Theraband and not the under wrap. I did this and it solved the problem of the hanger moving or sliding too close to the glans. If you have too much wrap it will not grip as good. I use the gray or silver color.

I used the gray one and I used two pieces together and it worked really well. You may not have the bib adjusted right. The bib has a ton of adjustments.

Silver is what Bib sends. Mine measures .023” thick.

I think you’re confusing silver tubing with silver band. The silver tubing has .125” walls.

Bib used black until other guys turned him on to silver. Here is a list of the strengths. I haven’t tried other colors.

That’s a thick wrap. Your hanger adjustments must be really spread out with a wrap that thick. When you tighten the hanger, do the top teeth AND bottom teeth mesh together?

What hanger do you use, Starter or Regular?

I use the regular bib. I am 7 BPEL X 5.625 EG. I wrap the kling over the glans about a 1/4” up from the corona and then down and up several times to cover 4 inches. I then wrap the Thera-band about a 1/4” below the corona and wrap evenly for about 3 1/4 inches. The teeth mesh on both the top and bottom. I closed the bib without my penis in it and measure between the “pressure blocks”. Measuring from the back the top it is 1/2” at the bottom it is 3/4”. When I measure from the front it is 1/2 at the top and 5/8 at the bottom.
This has been a fairly comfortable setup however I am always willing to try something else.
I have tried no wrap, toilet paper, just Thera-band, just Kling, and just Ace bandage.
I plan to try just Thera-band, and Thera-band with talc. I just feel like there is no way to prevent the bib from sliding up. My glans gets very hard and dark but not numb. I squeeze the blood out before tightening. I am starting to go heavier as I feel only slight fatigue. I do not feel pain unless I have pinched somewhere. I usually last the whole 20 minutes per set. I do 12.5, 13.75, 15, and 16.25 lbs. I hope to increase my set’s by another 1 1/4 lbs in the next week or so.

Any advise/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I have a LOT of 7:30 - 8:00, erection angle less than 9:00 (around 10:00). I hang straight out while seated. I feel the tug at the glans and on the ligs at the ishial tuberosity (spelling?). I use a rice sock and I do about 4-5 hours of stretching with an homemade ADS which is about 2.5 lbs.

With all that wrap I am surpised your teeth mesh on top and bottom. That’s good news if they do, though.

The important thing is that you have tried different methods of wrap. Everyone is different and you should do what works for you. I see a lot of guys get stuck with one method and get frustrated when it doesn’t work.

There’s always going to be sliding towards the head when the weight is added. It can’t be helped. As long as the “thumbs” of the hanger is resting on the “shoulders” of the head and NOT riding over the head, then everything is okay.

The only thing I can think of is that your a narrowing your upper shaft and head a little too much from the wrap. This may be taking away from the “shoulders” and giving little for the weight to rest on. Get it?

I get what you are saying. I should state that although the bib rides up it does not ride over my glans. Kling is very thin stuff and I only have a couple of wraps around my glans. Once it fills with blood it creates a good stop for the shoulders of the bib (like head and shoulders).

I ordered a pack of Thera-band which includes 6ft of silver, black, and blue (or the next one down). I plan to get some good quality talc also and really experiment with wraps and adjustments.

I also do something I have not heard mentioned recently. I use a third hand to help me wrap. No, not my wife’s. She knows I do “exercises” but she has never seen my PE junkyard. Anyway, I use an ADS as a third hand which is a noose (ya, I know, I am careful). This allows me to wrap very neatly.

Ramrod, I appreciate your help. I will let you know what these suggestions yield. Again, I rate my setup as a 7 If I can get the same thing without an underwrap I will go for it. If I can do better I will sing praises to you guys.

As a rule of thumb the less or thinner wrap the less it will slide.

sLi, you’ll be surprised how much of a difference a tiny adjustment will make. Be it an adjustment of toe-in/out, or merely starting your wrap an 1/8” lower or higher.
