The new Vacu-hanger - Questions

Hi

Has anyone bought the ‘new’ vacu-hanger?
Only started being shipped a few months ago.
If so can someone please tell me how to retain suction? That little black spike with a hole in it is very hard to plug, and if there were some special sort of apparatus to do so, I don’t have it. :(

Other than this, it’s nicely built. :)

I have been using mine for a couple days now. I am loving it. As far as sealing the small valve on the cylinder, you should have received 2 tiny (TINY) plastic caps, mine are black. Look in the many bags you received. I do not use my caps. Instead I put the silicone hose on the valve, suck out the air and clamp it. The hose and the clamp were included. Monkeybar has improved on the original design with this suction hose.

My cylinder did not have a manual hole. You do not need it when you use the suction hose. Also, I found that at first it was hard to get the cylinder off. But then I discovered that you can roll the sleeve up to the cylinder and then blow into the hose and the pressure will push your johnson out without the sleeve grabbing it!!

Thanks for the review, sheLovesIt, very interesting! Recently started hanging with my regular VacExtender kit, only up to 5lbs so far. I am just wondering what the maximum you’ve managed to hang is?

Based on what I’ve read so far, I’ll need to gradually crank the weight up to see real gains with hanging.. Wondering if the vac hanger is better suited for this than the vacuum cup you get with the vacextender.

Hmm, now I look for it, I can’t even see the vac-hanger on the website? If poss, could you post a link to the ‘new model’ you guys are referring to please? Thanks!

Thanks for the help shelovesit, I will try and locate those caps in the bags. Would have been nice to know I needed them though. Always used tape to cover the hole on the old hangar (which got lost).

I just started Vac hanging after a 5 year lay-off from BIB hanging. I gained 1/2” with hanging before I hit a wall and could not figure out how to get the gains started again. My average hang weight range was 15 to 18 lbs and max was 22 lbs (Ouch). Again, with a BIB hanger. I hung SD and SO mainly.

I have started light at 5 lbs and plan to stay light as long as possible. With the more comfortable Vachanger I plan to maximize time. I am doing the extreme BTC angle with a little bouncing action to bring on fatigue.
I also use heating and cooling cycles.

I have a lot of privacy being retired and on my own schedule. My wife knows I do PE and supports it.

My advise is to not increase weight thinking that you will gain faster. Use only the weight that you need to feel fatigue unless your schedule does not allow you the time. This idea has been presented by several very established members so look for it. I think that heavy weight and gaps in my workout schedule brought me quickly to a plateau.

I also started using the AutoXleeve as an ADS and ANS. It is superb. I am able to wear it for hours even while doing landscaping. I can wear it in public with loose jeans. I can sleep with the lightest sleeve on.

Monkeybars products are very comfortable, well design and well made. He also has good service.

Yes, I don’t know if the feeling and stretch is fundamentally different with a BiB, but I definitely don’t feel like adding much more weight would do much, besides potentially cause injury! I think that CervixHunter’s post on Steady Sustainable Lengthening, where he states that there is no need to use more force than that to achieve maximum stretch, makes a lot of sense!

“Extreme BTC” = Between the Cheek = similar to Audica’s lying down on the bed kinda angle??

I’m definitely a fan of maintaining heat with a rice sock. Not familiar with cooling cycles though, shall try to find out more.

I hang 5.5kg for an hour a day with this thing. Using the strong red sleeve. It’s fantastic

I believe their is a mistake in thinking here and that is that your only going to be gaining when you get up to much heavier weights. If you are doing things correctly you will be gaining the entire time from the very smallest weights in the beginning to when you get up to heavier weights. The key in thinking here is I have to do just enough to induce growth, and in the beginning a much smaller weight will be required to do this job, but your body adapts over time and when this occurs, it is now going to require a slightly heavier weight to get that same job done, but the Job your trying to do is still the same as it was in the beginning, ( Doing just enough to induce growth, watching your PI’s and PQ’s very closely… and backing off at the slightest sign of over training and for some of us over training is a very easy place to go. (Sorry could resist that one.) Extreme patience is required to do PE properly, more patience then most of truly have to do this and pull it off, some serious self honesty is going to be required if you are ever going to see any results with PE, its going to be so much easier to just say I tried that, when in fact you never did it properly to begin with. Keeping very precise and accurate records is a must, if your just winging it, then your never going to see any results and waste a huge amount of your life for nothing. Read and read and read on here first, the more you know the less time your going to waste.

Exactly, I lay on my bed with my feet up on my computer desk. When I raise my butt a little the hanger is “Between The Cheeks”. I get fatigue in about 40-50 minutes and hang for an hour. I do this 3 times a day, every day. I am really feeling it in the ligs. I plan to measure in a few weeks. I was very commited when I was hanging with the BIB but now I have even more time and since the vachanger is so comfortable I am going to stay with this routine come hell or high water. I want what BIB got!

By cooling cycle I mean that I apply IR heat in the beginning of a session and remove it for the last ten minutes and apply a cool cloth. There is a thread on it here somewhere. It has to do with streatching ligaments for injuries like ACL tears.

This is sort of funny actually. I can see you hanging out with your retired buddies and they all start chiming in about how they spend their time now that they are’t working. I guess you can say you are working out…sort of.

I don’t hang out … I am married, LOL. She’s all this man could ever want in a woman. I tell her that I do “exercises”. She knows what I mean.

I do have one good retired friend. He spends alot of time doing something and I can never figure it out. I think it is online gambling. Maybe he IS doing PE.
