The AFB Hanger

I’m gonna try this

Better than a solid thread with two wing nuts, in my opinion, are long bolts with wingnuts - two less pieces to fuss with. I have made several like that. I think the last design I show was the result of trying for a design that would go through an airport metal detector, and not require a trip to the hardware store.

I’ve never entirely figured out the twisting, which happens with every hanger I’ve used (including two Bibs). I think it’s got to do with how accurately it’s positioned - in other words, not slightly oriented to one side or the other - and once your dick’s all wrapped up it can be tricky to get it exactly right.

I use, believe it or not the insulation type foam tube used in the refrigeration industry. It is soft and I get my dick through with a little baby powder :) So no need to wrap and it works fine for me with the ABF :) There is also different sizes to suit most of us I believe.
I love the 3D Animated pictures Piet. Brilliant :)

I use the bib hanger and cannot stop the twisting of my shaft due to having a oval shaped penis. Will I have the same problem with this hanger?

Yes.

Hi. Just a few observations/questions about the AFB hanger.

It looks like from the pictures that the weights must hang on the left or the right of the penis,
Therefore creating uneven weight distribution.

I was wondering when using this AFB hanger does it hang to 1 side when using it?
Dose this effect the stretching to become lopsided? Do people using this just switch between
Left and right in there routine to even it out? Thanks for answering any of these questions.

Regards Daniel.

I built my Wench a few days back, but ill also build the AFB to compare the two. This one looks alot easier and faster to put on and take off.

Absolutely not. Unlike other hangers, the AFB is completely adjustable. It may take some experimentation to see what works best for you, but there is absolutely no need to have twisting if you don’t want it.

If you have trouble getting it right, just make the sticks longer: the back end will go between your legs and prevent twisting.

Long the sticks will make the problem worse, actually. Twisting is due to an asimmetry in the shape of the penis, with one side wider than the other one; the weight will hang more on one side and this imbalance will create the twisting. I have never tried the Bib’ but I think it could be slightly less of a problem with it compared to the AFB.

Hi Daniel,

I have no idea what you’re referring to: where are the images you’re looking at? The AFB comprises two pieces of wood clamped to the sides of the penis, held tight by a string or cord that loops around the front end and the back end. From that string, the weight pulls downward in line with the center of the penis. Following instructions, there is no way to “hang on the left or the right of the penis.”

That said, I no longer recommend hanging, but maintain AFB instructions ~ here.

Hey,

I built this hanger and it was definitely easy to make and use, but I’m still confused about some things. I’m not sure if I’m using it correctly yet.

I can’t seem to get lateral pressure as the means by which the hanger stays attached. I’ve tightened the screws a lot more than the 1.5cm recommended earlier for the back bolts, and it still slips and rests on the glans. From earlier posters I get the idea it’s not supposed to slip, which for me, for all hangers I’ve tried so far, seems unattainable. Is it more about the lateral pressure taking some pressure off the glans, rather than taking 100% of it?

Also, if I’m uncut, am I supposed to pull the foreskin back before attaching? In either way I’ve tried, given that it still slips, it feels uncomfortable on the skin.

And last but not least, if I tighten enough, it gets to the point where I feel a bit of a sharp, but passing pain. Is that ok, or should I let it looser?

Thanks

Ensure that you wrap well. This is probably the most important first stage.

Pulling back your foreskin will allow you to skip the skin stretching stage that circumcised hanger users experience. To me that is the preferable option but some uncircumcised hangers do not pull back their foreskin.

Pain is generally not a good sign.

Making the sticks longer means they go further back between your legs, which prevents sideways motion (twisting).

Prevents? Do you mean ‘stops’? I have tried that and it doesn’t work, longer sticks will means higher twisting forces because the lever is more efficient. Using the legs to stop the twisting will not avoid forces acting more on one side than the other. Try by yourself and you’ll see (assuming you have a lateral curve in your penis, of course).

I’ve been using the AFB hanger for 3 months. The hanger has always twisted slightly to the left ( or looking straight down on it counter clockwise ) does it really matter if it twists a little?

I don’t see how that matters personally.

Is this something that I need to remedy?

Is it gonna cause a corkscrew looking unit or something?

And if not why is this such a problem?

Not trying to sound angry or condescending just my observations and questions.

I think we need to define terms here. I expect for most native English speakers, “twisting” in this context suggests rotation around the vertical axis (“Y” in the diagram I have attached). Creating a (laterally) curve in the Y axis we would more naturally call “bending.”

I have not addressed bending. In the additional diagram, I illustrate how the intent of the device is to pull straight down, centered on each of the side pieces. In the photo I show how you might use the inherent asymmetry of a slip know to influence the lateral hanging characteristics. You could also introduce a knot or other restriction at the bottom where you put your weight, forcing it off-center and putting more downward pull on one side or the other.
