Surprised At Shaft/Tunica Fatigue

Just curious if anyone has had similar findings.

Currently hanging 15 pounds mostly BTC (every hour, 50 min BTC and 10 SO).
Working up to this, I could feel some stress in the ligs and some on the top of the shaft.
What has surprised tho since reaching 15 pounds is the sides of my shaft feel much more stressed then my ligs or top of the shaft do.
Just seems a bit surprising and I wondered if anyone else experienced something like this?

I remember reading a few different posters saying at 15lbs something totally changed about hanging.

I bought a 4kg kettlebell for some bundled hanging superdick style even though he uses 22,5kg I have to start somewhere.

Why a KettleBell over just normal plates?
All the same but just curious.

Remind me if you have already worked up to hanging that weight.
That is a very big number if you haven’t worked up to it.

I noticed it. Was about 17lbs for me. I was a little excited by it as it feels more “right” than before. It is my unscientific thought that the lig gains are mostly done and we are now hitting mostly tunica. I have read posts that indicate this is the point where the real gains are and agree. I can see why most of the big gainers get carried away because you can tell it’s really working. I think most guys give up before reaching it.

I was one of those people that hung for a couple of months, never coming close to reaching this level of stress, and then thought, “ hanging doesn’t work for me.”

I will say this is such a different feeling of total stress that I have not felt before (for others reading this, note the word stress and NOT sharp pain, there is a huge difference).

Just to add a bit more information to the above….
Two things happened for me when I reached this point of stress/fatigue. Along with hanging I am also doing manual stretches using a LengthMaster to really hit bundled stretches.
I was not able to hang and do full force manual stretches as my EQ had taken a hit. So I had backed off and then was slowly increasing the force of my manual routine with hanging and my EQ responded extremely well, to the point my night time erections were/are amazing.

Anyway, with the 1-1/2 pound weight increase to get me to 15 pounds I also had upped my manual stretching force, for me, I believe this combination just worked really well together.

My initial plan right now is to stay at the 15 lb weight for a bit and maybe add some time to my manuals.
I am curious how this progresses over the next few weeks…

I am not really a log or personal thread type of guy but I might start jotting some notes down in a word doc for one someday. My process is simple, hang heavy aiming for fatigue. I have a bunch of 1” weight plates and smallest is 1.25lb. If you don’t reach fatigue for a session add a plate.. I have not measured for about 8mos when I started hanging and told myself I wouldn’t for a year (April 30). It is my belief permanent gains are a multi-year process, probably longer, so.. That said, I can tell I’ve gained.

I understand about the posting updates stuff, I also can’t do a daily log but do try to post weekly or monthly on the routine.

When you can… I really think a lot of people would be interested in your routine and experiences tho, there just isn’t much information out there on what you are doing.

I actually just got to this point and was wondering what I was feeling as well. I hit 14lbs BTC and when I take the weight off I ache on the sides of my shafts at the base as well as where the ligs are. Hopefully, as Henrik read, this is where the real gains begin.


Start : 7 BPEL, 4.8 mseg

Now : 8 BPEL, 5.43 mseg, 8.375 BPFSL

I appreciate ya’ll chiming in on this as I don’t remember anyone really mentioning this before.

I am getting addicted to this feeling. I didn’t get it last night and was disappointed with the set.
(Newbies reading this, we are NOT talking “sharp pain.” - Sharp is always bad).

You ever thought about IPR? The more I read about it the more it makes sense to let the penis heal. It could be the reason I never gained hanging after months at a time, and it was many times over the years.

The info is out there just buried. I found most of what I wanted searching posts of members with similar mentalities to mine. They are pretty much the same: “tried lots of things in the beginning and had little gains, decided to hang since most big gainers did BUT got dedicated. It sucked a long time but eventually got to a point when I knew it was working and then got a little carried away (addicted). Now I have serious gains.” Most reported around 15lbs is when they broke through but tons of factors like angle, duration, etc.

I don’t really buy into much of the theory and think most of it is counterproductive/paralysis by analysis but resting makes sense if you are hitting it hard. That said, I feel fully rested with a 24hr break. Nice stats Muck, I’d be happy with that.

BTC is the way to go for me as well. I got the VAC hanger off eBay a little less than 3 weeks ago. I hung SO and BTC mostly but was getting no results. I am an obsessive measurer where I check my BPEL every 2-3 days. I started lurking around here and saw the steel cord/ DT/ septum posts or whatever you want to call it, and felt it on the top of my penis when hanging SO. So yesterday, I did MEM’s stretching routine as well as hardcore V stretches and hung fulcrums SD instead of SO. Lo and behold, my BPEL is 0.12 inches longer. Made my day.
