I have been hanging pretty heavy lately coupled with pumping right after my last hanging set. this has left me very very sore. My last hanging day, i was unable to finish my second set @17.5 lbs so i went down to 12 to finish that set and on my last set it seemed 12lbs was too much for me. My soreness is felt whenever i stretch my penis and when i am semi hard and do a kegel (above my lot) i feel soreness, this is the tunica correct? what should i do now? should i continue hanging at 12lbs until my soreness is worked out or should i keep on at 17.5? thanks

First, do not make this into torture. If the stress is too much, or even if you simply find yourself watching the clock to take the weight off, you are probably pushing it too far.

If 17.5 is too much stress, then drop down in weight. This is a good thing. You might have to stay at lower weights for quite a while. Just try to ride the fatigue, continuing to stress the tissues at lower weights.

Any pain indicates you have gone too far and should stop completely.

I assume 17.5 is your max weight. If you have to drop much below 8 lbs, then you should rest a bit. Remember, you want controlled damage. Pain indicates true damage.

17.5 is my max and i have been hanging with it for about 3 weeks now but all of a sudden i have gotten really fatigue from it, not to a point of pain, but not to far from there. i will drop down to 12 lbs for this week and see what happens. By the way, when you had to drop down in weight, how long did you stay at that weight and was it followed by a gain? thanks

I never picked a specific weight and then hung that weight for a week or any specific time period. I always went by feel. If a certain weight did not give any stress, I moved up. If a certain weight gave too much stress, I moved down in weight. This occured on a daily basis, and even on a set to set basis.

It is really not hard once you get used to it and realize what you are feeling.

I was usually fatigued, and that was usually followed by a gain. hehe. But it is surely not conclusive.

Thanks bib. I have been playing in by feel. before i went up to 17.5 i was hanging 12lbs and felt nothing so i went up to 15 and still felt nothing so i went up to 17.5 and got instant fatigue. I am suprised i was able to hang this weight for 3 weeks. I usually read while i hang and do kegels/reverse kegels every 10 seconds or so. Hopefully all of this means gains as my fbpsl has increased somewhat.
