Stretching to the Left and Right Worth My Time? Dangerous?

Stretching to the Left and Right Worth My Time? Dangerous?

Hello,

I’ve started hanging and stretching again and made an interesting observation.

I don’t seem to be feeling much when I hang straight down. However, when I attach my penis to a leg strap and stretch my leg out forward and to either side, I get what I think might be some kind of lig pull, but it’s clearly not the suspensory ligs.

If you look at this diagram:

… I’m getting a stretch in an area that I think may be the pubic tubercole or maybe the Launor ligament. I can feel it when it pulls and it’s visible. I know that the suspensory lig is right on top - but if I stretch to the side, something is pulling there to the left or right of it and it feels good.

My question is, am I stretching a lig there, or am I pulling on something dangerous?

And will this kind of stretch be as effective as pulling straight down?

Thanks!

Spankman

Verrrry good question - recently I am stretching - if at all :o - to the left and to the rigth a lot. Any answers on this?

I too have felt this lig pull when hanging to one side. When pulling left or right you are putting more force on one chamber. So when manually pulling you are limited by your hands strength so it may be more easy to reach fatigue by pulling with that force only concentrating on one side/chamber. Also with hanging heavy weights people are restricted by their hangers or wrap techniques (or lack of) so hanging to one side will again reach fatigue easier.

The "average size" is usually over-estimated. Small guys don't take part in surveys and big guys jump at the chance.

Girl claims she had a huge ex? Stick a spider in the bathroom or a mouse in the kitchen and when she comes out screaming ask her how big the spider/mouse was...

Just a WAG, but I would say you are stressing the sides of the sus ligs. On me, the wide part of the fan is several inches. When you hang OTL or UTL, you will feel about the same thing you described. When my gains would slow, I would do a good bit of OTL and especially UTL, stressing more the individual bundles. Then, after a few days, I would go back to BTC which would hit the middle of the sus ligs and fund ligs. Divide and conquer.

You do have to be careful not to go too intense with UTL hanging because you really are limiting the area of stress on the left or right lig bundles and they could easily tear.
