Straight Out Fatigue?

I have been hanging for a couple of months now BTC, and have frequently had the feeling of fatigue in the ligs. Today I made the switch to straight out, and was hoping someone could describe the feeling of fatigue hanging that way.

What type of feeling is it?
How long did it take you to reach?
Are you using less or more weight that hanging BTC (if you have tried both)?

I would appreciate any advice.


For me, I would describe it as a tingling stretch that is not skin. Below the pain threshold. Makes me look at the clock often. Have to eventually stop cause I just can’t take it anymore…

I did all my lig stretching manually, so no help there. I’m currently hanging SO above 20#s for 20 minutes, hit some level of fatigue usually in the first 5-10 minutes, then back off resistance and ride it as much as I can stand it.

Make sure you work up to the weight that’s right for you, don’t just go by my or anyone else’s figure…
