Static stretch and Hanging

I have restarted my hanging after about 9-10 days off to recover from my overtraining (plus personal scheduling conflicts). This time I am attempting to apply the merits of static stretching to hanging. I’d like any of the bigtime vets with knowledge of both (stretching & hanging).

So, I am working with a routine that is composed of 3 sessions daily, each paced about 8 hours or less from each other (AM, afternoon, and late PM) and incorporates 2 sets of 20 minutes each. I have dropped my weight back down to 5lbs (I overtrained w/ 7.5lbs BTC) and am doing it in the seated position.

My hope is that I can keep this schedule up daily. In other words, not take any off-days. That is consistent with the theory of soft tissue growth through static stretching. I do realize that this may prove to be too much for the ol’ penis and will have to abort the ‘no day off’ theory. But otherwise I do believe a 3 session per day routine will be superior to my 2 session daily routine.

But we need PE pioneers so this is my quest! I’ll post back here as things develop. hehe


I’m no pe vet by any stretch of the imagination (pun intended) but I am currently testing the theory. I started pe about 2 months or so ago. I started at 7.5 ” bpel, and 6” mid shaft erect girth. Oddly enough, I always thought my size was average, or even below average. I’m working on length only (since discovering my girth was not average:-) ). I’ve gained 1/8” length in one month from manual stretching only, and another 1/8” in 2 weeks of hanging. My current routine involves both. After reading several posts from Bib, and some of the other stretching posts my current theory on pe is this:
The goal is to open micro tears, and keep them open long enough to “force” the body to repair them with new cells, rather than the more efficient adhesion repair. I think the body will naturally try to use the least energy expensive repair, unless it has no choice. This, plus the fact that my job doesn’t leave a lot of time for hanging has led to my current routine:

40 - 60 minutes hang (start with 15.5 lbs, work down)
2 - 3 minutes of manual stretches ( 10 sec straight out, + 10 sec reach around between legs) every 2 - 3 hours, for the rest of the day.

3 days on, one off.

I’ve just started this routine, so nothing to report yet. It does keep my ligs nice and “sore” (the good kind), and I believe it will ultimately force new cell growth, rather than just adhering the micro tears together. Why do I hang weight? I think it is more efficient in opening up more micro tears (and I just got my new Bib hanger friday :) )

It’s just my theory, and I’m not a doctor…but it seems reasonable to me, and definitely fits my schedule. I’ll do follow up posts on progress…

This is fundamentally the concept we have theorized about but could never prove apart from bone traction analogies …… so it’s good to see we’re on the right track. :) Personally, I think 24/7 static traction would provide the best results if the penis could stand it but, before anyone races out and tries it, let me just warn you, it can’t! Fluid build-up is a big problem and then there is also pain - real pain! And we also don’t know what the long term effects of this regime would be - could it lead to chronic ED?

If we look at the historical traditions of static stretching it isn’t much help either. Firstly there are the reports of African tribes whose men attach a rounded stone to the penis and leave it hanging there very long periods. Apparently, their members attain massive proportions, but they are virtually useless - can’t do much with them apart from tie them in a knot. (envy, envy! ;) ) And then there are the members of the Nada Sadhu sect in India who tie weights to the penis also for extended periods and achieve similar remarkable growth. But this is done as a penance and these men are celibate so we can’t tell whether sustained traction affects their sexual capabilities. My guess is it probably does, but in reality, who knows?

Scientists and doctors tell us that this can be done (yes guys, we already know this!) What we don’t know is how much we can do before it starts messing things up down there ……. and unfortunately, that’s probably going to be different for everyone.

Workouts once every 4 hours may provide optimal growth, but at what cost? Monitor it well and tread carefully!

Well, clearly I am not doing any current hanging as most of you know. But my goal was to progress (and I guess still is) to a 3 session per day of 2 sets of 20minutes. Spaced appoximately 8 hours apart. Of course, this will be with light, light weight. I think that constant stress is enough to induce some serious growth. Again, this starts to get into the old light weight vs. heavy weight thing that was on TH’s old, old site. But it makes sense to me because even with a 3-5lb weight on a hanger, the penis does get stretched down quite a bit. It’ll be my goal when I get back into it and I’ll report on my findings.
