Start Counting your sets when you reach fatigue
I’ve have been hanging for one month now and I’ve realized that it takes me about 3-4 sets (10-15min a set) to start feeling fatigue in my ligs when I hang BTC with 5 pounds. Right when I started I was only hanging for 5-6 sets, 10 minutes each. That sixth set is where I started to really feel that deep burn. But I stopped hanging after the 6th set because I didn’t want to overdo it. But now I’m thinking, that I should start counting my sets after I begin to feel that deep burn because that’s where the growth will occur. What do you guys think?
My current routine:
Warmup for 10 minutes with hot water
Hang 5 pounds BTC for about two hours (I use a IR lamp for the first hour to hour and a half)
Jelq for 10 minutes
