I’m a vacuum hanger. I have hung both with the Bib and a Vac hanger. I experienced the most success with the Vac, but also have experienced the dreaded blisters. This is in general what made me start thinking of different routines, as I would like to keep hanging with the vac, but without the blisters.

When hanging, I know we really would like to get in at least 10 hours a week. I have been doing about 10 to 14. Basically about 2 hours a day 5 to 6 days a week. I didn’t see any erect length gains until a added in some wet jelqs. The problem with this is that my EQ goes to shit when I add in the jelqs. It seems as tho my penis just cant handle doing both, and I was only doing about 30 moderate jelqs.

What I’m wondering is, if I went to a 4 day hanging schedule…hanging every other day, but adding a half an hour to my hang time, would this slow down gains? I would still get in 10 hours a week, but it would allow my glans to recuperate a little by giving it a day in between without a vac sucking on it. Then on top of that, I’m thinking on my off days, I could add a routine of jelqs. So I would hang one day, then jelq the next day. I’m wondering if this would help EQ by not doing both hanging and jelqing on the same day, yet help gains too.

Whats your take on this? Has anyone tried a routine like this before?

I haven’t done hanging so I can’t offer any advice.

In fact There will not be many people willing to advise on a routine that is unusual, as it is difficult to determine if it is safe or dangerous,

I think it ‘s one of those things you have to explore yourself.

Hang day one, Jelq day two….is that really so unsual? Maybe it is since I don’t think I have ever seen anyone do it before, but it doesn’t seem too far out there to me.

This is just my very personal opinion: you can gain doing hanging every other day, but you do need to use higher weights than generally suggested. Of course, be careful.

Thanks Marinera. That’s what I was thinking, that or adding time. When I try to jelq and hang in the same day, I loose EQ. Do you think if I hung one day, then jelqed the next it would help? Thanks again!

Yes. But I don’t think it’s wise to hung heavy 3-4 days per week and jelqing the other days. You have to take at least one day of rest per week, better 2. Or do a short (think 2-3 weeks) intense cycle with no rest days, then take 1 week off.

My unit is fine, BUT I’m only hanging ,max 30 mins per day about 2-3 LBS.

I thought jelqing after any session, pumping, stretching, hanging, clamping, was good if anything, necessary?

Ya, I do always take at least one day off a week…usually two. Thats solid advice tho, thank you! I might try your short intense cycle idea sometime just to see how it works.

I do always do some very light jelqs to restore blood flow after a 2 hour hang session. However, If I do a full jelq routine after hanging for 2 hours my EQ goes down. So what Im refering to is a jelq for gains routine. So a little more intense.

My 2 cents is to stay with LIGHT jelqs. If you go REALLY easy I bet your eq will be fine.

Try it, that’s all you can do.

another option would be to do the hanging on consecutive days and add one day of “other” tunica work on the fifth day followed by 2 days off. That way you would get the fatigue from hanging followed by the overall conditioning of the jelqing and still have 2 recovery days where your growth will take place.
