Is it normal to get a lot of red spotting whilst hanging?

I seem to get quite a lot after 2 sets of 20 min. I feel as though I’m hanging comfortably and with no pain.

When I retract the foreskin you see a lot of red spotting, almost like the blood is about to come out of the penis, it’s very light red.

It doesn’t stick around for too long, though I still have some this morning. I hang 3 x 20 min plus 2-3 hours of ADS this week.

I don`t get this.

How big are those spots? Does not sound good to me, but if you are hanging comfortably, have decent circulation in your head while hanging and don`t experience anything uncomfortable afterwards it is probably okay.

Make sure you monitor this.

Are you using low weights having just started out? It could be your ADS that is causing it as well.

You’re hanging with too much blood above the hanger, not the correct way to hang with the bib.

I’m using an ads, I don’t think I’m squeezing enough blood out of the glans, maybe that’s it. But it’s so difficult to keep things attached with no blood up front, do you find that too.

Ah, I did not think of that.

Pillars is right. Are you hanging with a “plug”?

I think most hanging newbies feel that they need blood in the head to keep the hanger in place, but that is truly not the correct way. You should grasp the internal structures and thus not be dependent on any blood in the head which will only cause you trouble.

You should not have to squeeze your glans so that it is completely deflated and “dead” before hanging. Personally, I find that some blood is okay. A rule of thumb can be that your glans should NOT be hard during the set due to pressure.

Hanging with a Bib definitely has a learning curve, so you should just be patient. Stay with 3 sets max and 5 lbs for now and don`t rush it.

I don’t have a BIB yet, it’s a homemade thing from a belt, it’s not the best but has worked thus far.
