Question to all hangers about lack of fatigue.

When I first started hanging I could really feel the fatigue (my guess in the ligaments because I was hanging rally low) that I could feel throughout the day; however after I have taken an unplanned brake, I do not feel such fatigue or can reach it, however I do feel the stretch.

I am wondering if I am still gaining ? or should I aim to feel such fatigue again by using higher weights ?
I fear that I will waste my time and not gain anything if I don’t feel fatigue.

My greatest gains in one month were achieved using low weight (6.75 lbs),plenty of heat, as much hanging time as I could manage….and no fatigue.

Yes I got sore (felt after the sessions) but I never had to stop hanging because the weight was too much.

I seem to respond better to my max weight. Therefore, I’m always trying to increase my max weight.

You could try two things:

1) Increase your weight.
2) Switch angles.

Sometimes, I’ll hang two or three sets BTC and then do two sets under each leg (UTL) and finish
with a couple of sets BTC. I definitely feel mega-fatigue when I go back to BTC. Plus, I feel a great stretch
with UTL in the middle of a session.

Are you the kind of person that adapts to situations and stresses easily? What I mean is do you just get past the pain easily? Whether it be lifting weights, jogging, sparring, etc….

I wonder what people’s pain thresholds do in hanging? Perhaps that is a variable in this. Maybe not. Just farting ideas out my ass again.

No, I do not adapt to anything easily. Every single new change in my life is met with resistance and reluctance. It takes a lot determination and persistence for me to do new things.

I get frustrated with hanging all the time. I’ve wanted to throw in the proverbial towel many times. I guess I really, really want a longer penis, because I’m on my 38th consecutive week hanging.

When I first started lifting weights, the results kept me going and my ambition gathered momentum.
Now, many years later, I have streamlined my training and can get a lot of a workout. I know exactly what exercises/routines my muscles respond to.

My hanging gains are slow and not very much. The 16 mm I have gained are enough to keep me going. But I’m hoping I’m at the point where more significant gains are just around the corner.

I think if you hang a weight and then have to drop down in weight for the next sets you are getting a good hang session. Rarely if ever, did I feel it after or the next day, but I seem to be slowly moving up that ruler.
