I was wondering when you start using heavier weights, What the preferred amount of toe out is . How many threads on the adjustment screw do most use (aprox). And by using only toe out, are you not getting the full shaft to stretch? Would you get more shaft to stretch if you use toe in due to the anchor point on the shaft. I guess you would have to use lower weight do to surface area. Do people use a double theraband wrap?

I am going to answer this question since I have been working on it a lot lately. You are correct that toeing out will take some of the lateral force off of the shaft behind the glans. How far back that goes depends upon how far you toe out. The amount that you toe out depends upon your girth when wrapped. I have recently increased my toe out pretty significantly because I got an injury to the dorsal nerve bundle that is located on top of the shaft just behind the glans. I want to reduce the pressure near the head, so I will toe out and also position the hanger back near the base rather than just behind the head. This will give me about 2+ inches hanging out beyond the hanger and should not stress that nerve bundle area if I have the hanger tight enough not to slip forward toward the glans. This way I will be concentrating on the ligs moreso than the internal structures and tunica. You basically have to play around with it in order to get your optimum adjustment.
