Problem with hanging/sets

Problem with hanging/sets

I should have brought this up a long time ago. I’ve been hanging off and on for the last year or so. Perhaps I would be more motivated to hang and thus get length gains if I hadn’t had this problem.

Whenever I hang for more than 30-35mins worth (that’s one set of 20mins and another 10-15mins in) my skin in the foreskin area (I’m cut) would start to get chunks of lymphatic fluid in it. I hang with 14.5 lbs. No other area of my dick shows any sign of bruising and the like, it stays warm and circulated throughout the session. (I use rice sock beforehand, too) I think this is caused by the skin in front of the hanger to be rolled forward behind the head under pressure for these periods of time. But I need the hanger to be tight or else it will slide over my head. I’d like to believe that I have the wrapping part of it down, since I can hang with comfort (until the skin issue arises).

I’d really like to hear anyone’s thoughts on how can you hang for an hour + at a time. Does anyone else get this problem? Anything that I can do about it? Perhaps I should take really long breaks in between sessions?

orgasmo, try starting the underwrap with only 0.5” of the glans exposed. However, start the Theraband just below the circumcision scar. Solved the same problem for me and hopefully help you.

I don’t use underwrap but I do use theraband. I will try wrapping theraband closer but I was instructed by Bib himself to start the wrap around an inch behind the head. Thanks for your input. Any other input is welcome, too.

Orgasmo,

I had this problem fairly often when starting out. The lymph fluid would cause the foreskin to sting. Sometimes, I just muddled through and I did get extra lateral foreskin stretch, which increased the amount of sets I could do before it started stinging.

But over time, I refined my wrapping technique, getting the wrap more and more loose, till eventually, I had no more swelling. If you can piss while being wrapped, you are fairly close to having it loose enough. Also, after wrapping, be sure ot stretch the skin under the wrap by pulling the skin from the base, while holding the wrapped bundle toward the head. This seemed to loosen the wrap a little bit more for me, and prevent any swelling.

Orgasmo,
I agree that your wrapping technique holds the answer. Beyond that an idea is to achieve an erection between sets. The internal pressure coupled with the natural skin stretch helps to effortlessly disburse pockets of fluid build up. This technique has allowed me to continue hanging (minus the erection of course) when it might otherwise have become too uncomfortable.

I’m glad I wasn’t alone on this problem. I wish I could pee on demand everytime I try a new wrapping technique!

When you say I need to stretch the skin under the wrap by pulling the skin from the base, does that mean I need to get more skin towards the head or the base? I usually allow for some skin-slack on both ends. That way I don’t be stretching skin instead of my dick and the skin by the head will provide some cushion for the wrap (the fact that I start the wrap 1/2-1 in. behind the head alone should give enough skin-slack for cushion anyhow). I should say that I seem to have to tighten my Bib-hanger pretty darn tight for it to not to engulf my head, and even then my head has to have some engorgment or else only the skin will be stretching. Maybe it’s time to adjust for toe-in or toe-out, I’ve tried a little bit after getting the Bib, but gave up after finding I could hang halfway decently with both max-tight. Besides those, I tighten the clamp one to almost max. I’m 6.5x5.5 NBPEL/G for your info.

CaptNHook: That’s a great idea, I already do that most of the time. Might as well during the breaks in between sets. It does help, but not as much as I’d like. Only downside is the penis is more engorged for the next hanging set.

Orgasmo,

>When you say I need to stretch the skin under the wrap by pulling the skin from the base, does that mean I need to get more skin towards the head or the base?<

Toward the base. I am not talking about pulling out a lot of skin. Just enough to know that the skin is smoothed under the wrap.

That is all correct. When you pull the skin from under the wrap, you do not want to lessen the amount that is in front of the wrap.

Hmmm, I might not understand all of the above, but it sounds as if you are not grasping the internal structures. If you are tightening the top bolt completely, then you may not have the hanger tight enough. You might need to let the bottom hex nuts in a little, so that the top teeth just mesh, and you can get a little tighter. If you do not have much adjustment in the bottom hex nuts, you might need to wrap just a tad more to provide a little more wrapped flaccid girth.
