Yes, I do.
The only area that feels tense, or hyper-elongated, is just above my balls.

Ok. I may have read a little more into what you wrote than was actually there. Since Bib left there has been some wacky thinking, theorizing and advice here at times. I think we agree on everything so far except BTC creating a fulcrum effect that can work the inner shaft.

If you superglue a rope to a pulley, grab an end and tug it, the other end of the rope will not take any of the stress because the pulley itself is supporting the load.

Same in this case. The ligs are attached to the shaft. Tension applied downward is supported by the ligs, not the internal shaft. See my attached excellent artwork. :)

With BTC the dorsal side (septum between the CC’s in particular) usually takes a good part of the load. In OTS the load may be more spread out, resulting in a lower tension per unit area of tissue.

Well, it was worth a shot - you make a good case.
I completely grasp the idea and yet something about it still nags the shit out me - the superglue hasn’t dried, so to speak - but I’ll drop it.

Personally, I feel the tension throughout the entire shaft BTC is always greater than at higher angles. I have never been able to reproduce anywhere near this level of tension SO/OTS because of weight tolerance issues.

Hobby, are you able to hang more weight OTS than BTC or vice-versa?

BTW- your drawing really is excellent. For a second or two I thought you had posted a Jackson Pollock reproduction :)

OK correct me if I am wrong Cappy, but I read your posts along these lines;

Regardless of a guys LOT, gains my be made by hanging BTC as the shaft is stretched between the fixed fundiform lig and the hanger. As the fundiform lig is securely attached to the shaft, it acts as a fulcrum for the external shaft, but as Hobby said, does not allow the expressing of the inner shaft.

I think that was the general direction you were heading in , correct?

Seems fine to me, but as Hobby said, it may not be the most efficient use of one’s time and faster gains may be had by hanging according to one’s LOT.

Discussions and constructive arguments about these things are how we come to a better understanding of what is actually going on. I certainly don’t understand it all. Threads like this are interesting.

Depends. I hang OTS using a 1” wide strap over a terry cloth towel on my shoulder. The friction in this setup allows me to exert more pull than the actual weight dangling from the end. I try to lean back and get the most out of whatever weight I’m using by pulling until the strap starts to slip.

Overall, I use more force OTS than BTC.

Probably looks more like the Jackson-Pollock equation, which is rather ironic considering my current focus on losing fat.

I was describing OTS.

When I hang BTC it feels like I am actually accomplishing PE.

But when I hang (or technically stretching) OTS the tension
does not feel as effective as BTC.

But I am surprised to read about bbs’ shaft numbness.
If anything I get glans numbness.
That’s why when I occasionally do OTS I limit my sets to 12 minutes with 5 minute breaks.
In lieu of the standard 20 minute set/10 minute break.

The focus of stress shifted for me. At first it was low, sort of between the balls, and in the center of the shaft. This felt like softer tissue that was relatively weak and fragile. I couldn’t use heavy tension. After that part stretched out I felt the pull shift to the CC’s down low - where I envision they spread apart to become the crura. The minor difference in angle from hanging over each shoulder affected different sides. Left shoulder pulled most on right CC and vice versa.

Of course, what we feel isn’t necessarily what is being stressed the most.

I am currently using the Bib Starter. My Bib Hanger is on it’s way.
And the only time I get glans numbness is when I don’t properly wrap, or tighten the hanger,
or squeeze blood out before I do a set.

Perhaps this will happen to me as well. At this point I have only done about 25 sets OTS.
I only do it occasionally to get acclaimated to the position so I am ready when I make the switch
from BTC to OTS. Right now, I feel the tension on the sides of the shaft, very low - near scrotum. But that is probably due, as you say, to the strap being pulled at an angle over my shoulder.

-Incidentally, I don’t even plan on using the other angles.
My plan is to duplicate Bib’s history.

3)X-Uli’s - (that’s why I was doing research on the Uli recently)

Since I stopped OTS hanging well actually all hanging but I didn’t have the problem until I started OTS my night hard-ons are back and getting harder every night. Also my flaccid hang has been excellent no more dick withering after an OTS hanging session and my discoloration has lighten up a little. I have just been doing a jelq and squeeze secession sometimes morning and night for 20-30 minutes or sometimes one for at least a half hour. And I’m doing this 5-6 days a week. Buts it weird I was hanging for so many hours I don’t know what to do with myself today would have been a big hanging day for me up to 4 hours and instead I got so much other shit done it was great. I will go back to hanging again but not until the summer is over.

I get some head numbness as well. But it seems to really beat my shaft up. Parts of it are numb, and I get major major shrinkage postworkout and it seems like days after. I also used a reduced set time in the beginning.

I’ve been off since 6/10/04. I’m still debating when I come back and what positions to use.

I’m also someone who has very poor flaccid health. When I do hang its ok and respectable. But sometimes I get so much damn retraction its disgusting. I really need to do something about this. My original plan was no jelqing until I get my length. I’m thinking of jelqing or jelqing in combination with my hanging. I think the combination of OTS and poor flacid health does not yield a good result. I don’t know….
