Hi,

yesterday, I bought me a lifting tackle to start an experiment. Hanging OTS for me is a little uncomfortable and I do never know, how much weight I use. So, I thought to me, why don´t you buy a lifting tackle and install this in your beam in my house. I´ve done this yesterday and it is very great !!!

I can hang now at many angles. When I want to hang SO, I will install another lifting tackle in the wall in front of me. As you can see in this picture, Hnaging OTS is no more problem and very comfortable. When you turn around with the chair, you can hang SO in many different angles.

Hope, this helps you.

P.S.: I named this method OTLT = Over The Lifting Tackle ;-)

Oh, I´ve forgotten:

In front of me stands my computer, so I can watch DVD when I am hanging. ;-)

Lifting tackles get pretty pricey, might as well buy a pulley from home depot. Or am I missing something here?

I think, we mean the same.

My lifting tackle cost me € 3,99. That is not very expensive. It looks like a return pulley.

Nice idea.

Allright man I see what your saying, culture clash I guess. So does the pulley diminish the weight at all?

I’m not sure if there is a way to prevent a pully from diminishing weight; however, with just one tackle, it’s probably not enough of a difference to cause concern.
