I read this in the penis manual here on thunder:

“Apply heat for the first half of first half of sets. If four 20min sets are done, use heat for the first 10 minutes of the first 2 sets. This is to allow the tissues to cool in the extended state, further use of heat will make the tissues more likely to return to their original size. Do not hot wrap after the hanging sessions.”

I am a bit confused.. I thought you should always hotwrap both berfore and after a PE workout?

I would be very glad if anyone can tell me if its right or wrong to hotwrap after a hangig exercise?

I think you should heat it before hanging, Not after.

The hotwrap used after PE excercises is ment to be used after girth excercises.

What you could do after hanging is to get an semi/erection so that you get some fresh blood in there after the hanging session.

This is very new to me.. So I should not hotwrap after stretching or using devices like penis masters to stretch the penis?

Depends on what PE theories you belive in.

The theory behind warming up is that this will make it easier to deform/stretch the tissues, And the theory behind cooling it down while stretched is that the ligaments will then stay stretched permantly.

If this theory is correct then you should not heat it up again after hanging because this could cause your ligs to retract?

I use heat before stretching/extender/hanging, But not after. I just do not see any point in heating after stretching, But I do massage it and try to get some fresh blood in there after stretching.

Yes after jelqing, many think if you hang, then jelq, then hang then jelq, etc. You get the best results.

If it were me, I would hang, then get a semi, in that order, 3-4 times, then light jelq.

What about using ice to cool down the ligs? I wonder if supercooling would have a better effect than natural cool down.

There are a few threads about this, I belive that Big Girtha is one of the members that cools down while stretched, You could read some of his threads to find out excatly what he does, I also rember reading other threads about “cooling down while stretched”, Try searching for it.

okey thank you! One other thing. Sometimes I have really long sessions of PE. For example I may stretch for 30 mins, then have a 10 min brake, then jelq for 30 mins, then 10 min brake, then hang for 1h then have a brake and then maybe do some more stretching. When is the time to hot wrap, between changing exercises? Is it necessary to hot wrap before a new exercise or is it only before the first PE exercise, after that the dick should already be warm, like when you exercise your body you dont need to warm up if you run and then jump on to you bike.

Difficult question to answer, I think you should use heat before the stretching and also before the jelking, Then you could hang while it cools down, just my personal oppinion.

On a related note: what do you guys think is the best way to apply heat during a hanging session? From what I’ve read it’s ideal to heat for the first half of the set then allow your unit to cool down during the second half. What would you recommend for this: an electric blanket? I suppose a rice sock is a possibility but I’d prefer to have something self contained so my roommates don’t wonder why I’m running to the microwave every 25 minutes for an hour and a half. Any suggestions and/or links to specific products?
