I have heard that lig pops are a step to the “next level” I believe this because I have had no gains up until I recieved my first lig pop.

It wasn’t at 10 or 20lb it was somewheres around the 40lb mark.

My new concept, which I would like others to help me test, is taking the most amount of weight you can handle, which for me is 55-60lb and lifting for 1-5 minutes at a time, and doin this 20 or more times…

I have seemed to gain an 1/8 of an inch, I have been at hanging for about 2 weeks, and nothing before this…if there is already some type of exercise like this please let me know, I wouldn’t want to take credit for somthing already claimed…

I like this idea, its kind of like manual stretching but no sore hands. Using you as an example, if you did 20 1min sets you would be able to hang 50% more weight than if you did 1 20min set. You could leave the hanger on for 4-5 sets but you would have to take it off at least 4 times during those 20 sets because there is no way you can hang super heavy and keep circulation too.

I’m going to try this, perhaps doing 40 sets with dld blasters too, and normal hanging sets after this. I think it might be a good trick to be able to hang with extra stress levels for the same amount of hang time to fatigue the ligs quickly.

In what position are you using what seems to me to be an enormous weight? I’ve read with interest and have incorperated somewhat JAI stretches. The thought occurred to me that repeated appilication of stress(perhaps at a high level) might be of benefit. Have absolutely no scientific reason for believing this, just a thought. I have a pulley set up where I can have weight applied to unit for seconds or minutes then by simply pulling on rope I can relieve stress for desired interval of time. This can’t be used in several positions however(such as BTC)

I think high weights, more than your usual max, for a very short time could be beneficial. Maybe a minute or less. Much like a really hard manual stretch. But, as the weight and/or time increase, so do the risks. Quickly.

Weights in that range could be very risky - even for short periods.

I would think that a more manageable weight over a longer period - perhaps 40-45 lbs for 5 minutes might be as effective and also be much safer.

I would not hang that much off my member. I want to go up I’m maxed at 26 lbs and thats soo heavy. But I want to go to say 35 for a 5 minute set just to get things moving so to say. What is in vets opinions the max you can go ? Or should go.

Through the holidays I havent had any privacy(or energy!) hehe so tonight I am going to start up after a 2 week rest. I have gained almost 3/4 inch hanging just below straight out and up only. I have done some sets straight down, none btc . I need to get more time! I need like 4 hours a night and consecutive days and I believe I can get much more results. I did get a pulley system and like it allot . I dont like the friction loss as its not as easy to judge as just hanging . But its great for angles. My wife has said she noticed just this morning after we well you know .. last night.. hehe:) I said thats just the start baby.. I am just starting to gain.. Shes not a pervert but shes liking it …… Shes in this loosing weight thing and feels good about her self to, So im sure thats part of it.. But good for her.. !
