My cock turns blue very quickly

Hey, in the hanging 101 thread, it says that dark/cold = bad. But after like 3 mins of hanging, my glans are dark and cold. Is this normal?

It means no oxygen and lack of blood flow so whatever you are doing, it is bad technique.

I use a captains wench and attach it exactly how it says in the manual

Perhaps too tight.

Maybe you’re hanging more weight than you should right now.

Perhaps you didn’t build it properly.

I don’t know much about the Wench, but with the Bib you want the glans about 1/2” away from the hanger. You want the wrap to comfortably press against the glans.

You should allow some skin before/under the wrap - not intentionally, but don’t pull it back either. This skin will move forward with the wrap and bunch behind the glans when under tension. There’s a balance of how much skin. You’ll have to mess with this. Use very low weight until you have your technique down.

No matter how far back I keep the Captain’s Wench away from the glans it always slips down and rest on top of the glans. After a few minutes this will cause soreness and sometimes even restrict bloodflow. How do you keep the hanger 1/2 inch above the glans so that there is no soreness?

I think someone with experience on the Wench needs to chime in here.

With the Bib you can do this because of the wrap you put on before attaching it.

I used a piece of Sweatshirt material about 2” by 6” first, then a piece of Theraband over that (1-1/2” by 15”). Then attached the hanger.

When I use the captain’s wench, I use the elastic (nylon?) part of a sock as my wrap.Gerry is right, you are either wrapping it too tight, or are using too much weight.

When I first started using my wench, I attached a steel toe work boot to it to use as a weight. Within in a minute my dick was blue and cold. I ignored it until the pain got so bad that I couldn’t take it. I had to rest from pe for over a week after this.

If you want the wench to work, use a fairly thick wrap such as a sock, like I do, and attach a very light weight, such as a 3/4 empty 1 liter diet pepsi bottle. Do everything slowly, don’t rush it. Gains will come, but only if you take your time and do these things SAFELY! The wench works, believe me. I have gained over 2 inches in length using only it and jelqing.

My only hanging experience is with AFB hangers but it’s similar. If your hanger slips down to your glans you need to tighten it more. It’s ok if the hanger+wrap touches your glans but you don’t want to hang from your glans.
