I know BTC is the best position for gains, and probably straight out second, but was wondering how the others rank…..maybe you can do a quick list as to what are the best positions for gains and why??……

Also what was the MAX weight you got to in each position during your career??

I also wanted to let you know at some point we should probably have a diagram page or something illustrating the positions, because I just yesterday figured out that the legs AND the torso had to be on the same plane in the BTC position (whole body as close to 180 degrees as possible, right??)…I thought as long as the legs were elevated, that was enough….. this might make it a little easier for others.

And finally, I forgot where you said or if you said it….do you ever get over the “skin burning” effect of the BTC position?? and how long did it take you???

With my setup, I use a spring balance to tell me how much weight I’ve got, and pull against a fixed object using a luggage strap to connect.

By squatting at various heights, it’s possible for me to use any angle at all, including angles “beyond” BTC where the point of attachment is a foot or so higher than my dick, but that tends to squash my balls against my perineum, so I can’t last long there.

Therefore I’ ve been wondering for a while exactly what angles are used BTC when you’re doing this “in repose” using weights, which most guys seem to do. I guess it’s 90 degrees to the body, but would like to see others opinions.

I’d like to see more input on this also. I am hanging almost 100% BTC now. Do I need to hang other positions also?

By BTC, I sit on the edge of a chair and let everything hang straight down. I’m up to about an hour per day at noon at 8 pounds. Soreness doesn’t set in until the next morning. Generally 5 days per week. Might jelq once or twice per week.

This position actually calls for the reclining backwards of the body and raising of the legs. Then it does lie “between the crack”. You will not be able to hang anywhere near as straight downat first, and is good as it gives a good stretch with less weight.

Therefore same as me standing up typing, and force directly backwards— horizontal???

YEs BTC means the body is completely horizontal and the weight hangs vertically…it will push the dick back into the balls and but crack.

Just out of curiousity why do you use a spring balance why not straight weight? How accutate is that?

Also, yea i’m sure you could do it standed up and pull it back like you said, but there is nothing like gravity pulling on your unit in the BTC position!……

And yea as BIB said in an ealrlier post, you can recline back but i’m sure a flat 180 degrees upper and lower body would give the best results….at least thats what I feel.

Maybe now that BIB is back he can get in on this thread….

Horizontal???

What do you do while hanging? Look at the mirror on the ceiling?

At home one can lean back and put his feet on the coffee table while watching the TV…a very comfortable position, or simply recline back in the chair in front of the comp screen, feet on desk and keyboard on lap. As I was a mouse addict it took a little getting used to but I’ve never hung while horizontal. At a certain angle the hanger just doesn’t go any further BTC anyway.

I didnt necessarily say that it would be the best for multi-tasking…I just think you would get a far better stretch doing it all the way instead of just with the legs straight out by themselves and the upper body a little reclined.

Perhaps BIB can give us some insight…….

I think guys get a little carried away with EXACTLY how to do stuff. Like the amount of time, exact angles. There are three things which I think are important in the hanging process.

What you feel.
What you feel.
and then,
What you feel.

First, you have to be comfortable enough to relax everything. This means where you hang (chair, bed, whatever), what you do while hanging, all the comfort levels must be maximized.

Also, the attachment must be comfortable. No pain, ever. You must be able to relax and not worry about the weight.

Then, you need to examine if the hanging is giving you the desired effect. Can you feel the work?

If you are not meeting these criteria, then you need to change. This is not torture and while I was hanging, it was never unpleasant. Also, if I did not gain a mm, I never wasted the time because I was busy doing something else.

Concerning BTC, there are several degrees of angle on BTC. Most of these will hit the suspensory ligs to the max, which is the desired effect. Some of the less severe angles will better hit the fund ligs and should be explored. You do not have to always go for the most severe BTC angle.

Remember, I stopped hanging a long time ago, so all I can do is a best guess. Also, I do not recommend this or think it is needed. Further, these are my best guess of my last max weights. I did hang more testing the hangers.

BTC and straight out was 45 lbs.
OTS was about 25 lbs.
OTL was about 20 lbs.

I did. I wanted extra skin to mimic an uncut effect, protecting the head. From time to time I would spend a week or two only stretching skin, by placing the hanger closer to the base. Then, when I would put the hanger in the normal positions, no skin burn.

TO BBS "Accuracy" of Spring Balance

The actual figures for force are quite accurate, and it’s the same effect as far as the dick/ ligs are concerned—- as gravity —— and known weight, excepting that as an extension of what Bib said, I go by feel rather than the actual force.

Thanks also Bib for your comment about differing angles etc —all BTC—- as being beneficial. I can also pull slightly to the side- maybe that’s possible with “free weights” alsoby twisting the body.

When feeling fatigued, it’s so easy just to ease off a little.

You can use a max force that is just— or somewhat —-short of pain. It doesn’t really matter what it is, though I do note it so that I’m either not wimping out, or doing too much too quickly.

You can spend a minute — or how long you like—- building up to the max that you are going to do that day—- or thje max that feels— just —- comfortable and sustainable for the 20-30 mins to come.
