Mind Body and Kick Ass Moves

I hesitated when posting this here, almost put in in NCE, but it really is all about hanging.

Mind Body and Kick Ass Moves is a programme that was on BBC 3. I’ve just been watching it, and there was a section on Chi Qong.

The Chi Qong master demonstrated various things such as channeling chi to his hand to make it strong enough to dent a steel bar etc.

The part that shocked me was his iron penis demonstration. I haven’t watched it all, but the little that was translated of what he said was something like this:

(In the shot are three chinese men with what looks like a range of 8 lbs to possibly 18 lbs (hard to tell) hanging off their respective penises. They’re units are not in shot (material hangs in front) and the method of attachment is of course not shown either.

They are gently swinging the weights back and forth, here follows a rought transcript of the translated narration:

“The longer you swing the weight, the more comfortable it becomes apparently. He (the master) says that doing this will make your penis long, and testicles large, and also it will make you big and strong, and he doesn’t mean muscularly either. Also he says you’ll be able to shag for an hour, and not be tired. These blokes are in their 50’s, he says that as you get older your penis shrinks, and so do your balls. This is the best and quickest method for getting your health up to scratch because it increases the level of hormones in your body.”

Next scene: The men are turned away and appear to be jelqing. No way of telling really.

“Each disc is 15kg, 150kg in total”. The narrator (in shot) is shocked and attempts to lift the weights from above. He can, of course, not budge them.

And my god, he lifts it a few inches off the ground. To clarify, the weight is a big stack of discs. On either side of the discs are two small pillars that allow the guy to use his legs to go from crouched to standing straight, thus lifting the discs.

As I said I haven’t watched it all, the next bit will be him dragging a truck using only his penis, but I think I’ve said enough.

My respect for the east, their culture and arts (particularly martial) is great. This has made hanging all the better! Of course talk of hormone increases from a swinging weight casts a shadow of doubt on this master’s teachings. However, from what I saw, and what I know of hanging, I’m still in awe; a truly amazing demonstration that gives age-old backing to our ‘art’.

Now to know what they use to attach the weights! If only! These 50 year olds claim 1 hour marathons with increased size so they must be doing it safely.

Truly gobsmacked.

Edit: Just wanted to add some warnings, as although no one is about to try 150kg, some may try weight swinging. It’s popular with some members, I for one like it but I stress that you must go carefully. I would class it as dangerous, as it adds unknown quantities of force in several directions at once. So be careful.

Edit: He (the master) has created his own martial art. Since he could profit from this, perhaps from the sales of his video, it’s no surprise it’s touted as a life-enriching practice. It would of course be nice if it was true though. :)
