I think that the most effective hang or strecth is against the tug back. Let me explain, When you kegel, a tug back occurs. The ligament is pulled back and tightened. You have a backward force. When weight, or tension is applied you have forward force. This forward force is working against the backward force, attacking the ligament from 2 points.

I asked because, if you’re pulling against your tugback, your suspensory ligament is generally lax and thus out of the picture. Pulling at high angles generally takes the stress off of the suspensory ligament.

With the tug back, the penis is retracted a bit. While the penis is retracted, the suspensory is also retracted. Thus, shortened in the forward position. With forward force it is indeed put under tension from 2 angles. For example, while erect, kegel. The penis is flexed into a higher position due to suspensory tension. Pushing down on this applies tension to the ligament.

OK. I think I get it. You’re pulling the shaft from both ends: with your hand at the glans and with the BC muscle from within. Your ligs attach somewhere along the middle of the shaft. With this arrangement, you’re actually pulling on the ligs from both the outside and the inside.

The problem I have with this is that the force on the ligs is actually very light. It’s sort of like trying to lift a weight hung from the middle of a string. You have to pull very hard on both ends of the string to lift the weight. The force placed on the string is actually divided because you don’t have a very good angle on the weight. To lift a 5# weight, you might have to pull on the string with 20# of force.

You’ll get a much more effective stretch by pulling directly in line with the ligaments, i.e., somewhere between SO and BTC, depending on your LOT and on the specific lig bundles you’re trying to hit.

Essentially, applied force is maximally coupled to the ligs when the streched ligs are in line with the shaft. Once you get away from a straight line, force is reduced in proportion to the cosine of the angle.

The BC muscles pull on the corpus spongiosum, not the corpora cavernosa. The suspensory lig surrounds both, but it’s median attachment is to the tunica around the CC. Any tugback force created by the BC has a minimal effect on the median fibers of the suspensory and, due to the close proximity, probably not much on the lateral fibers that surround the CS. So using tugback as a “force” on the ligs isn’t really very effective and pulling in line with it may put minimal strain in the suspensory, but hanging at lower angles will be more effective.

You can’t add stress to the ligs with a kegel. If you are stretching at an angle where tugback can occur, the ligs are out of the picture. Kegelling pulls the penis back from within the body, and doing so during a stretch places more stress on the tunica with the double action stress going on. Although the stress of a kegel may be weak (who can really say), you would do them throughout the stretch in invervals of a few seconds, which definitely add up as time passes and you will get extra fatigue than if you didn’t do them.

To increase the stress on the ligs do a reverse kegel. This pushes the shaft outwards from within the body, therfore stretching the ligs further and placing more stress on them. You would do these in the same way, for about 5 seconds at a time with rests in between.

Also, remember that the kegel muscles are only small and if you are kegelling against a force they can not pull back they are working at a high level. So use them sparingly unless/until you’re BC muscles are strong.

Than this dissprovres lot theory. Using the tug back to estimate the ligs length. Well if the ligs are out of the question during the tug back (lot theory), how can it be used to determine lig length?

The ligs are out of the question when there is tugback. They are in the question when there is no tugback (or head movement as described in Bib’s post). With the ligs connecting on top of the shaft from the bone, the higher the loss of tugback the tighter the ligs.
