LOT increase from BTC hanging?

After a couple of months of hanging exclusively BTC, I remeasure my LOT and it has risen up to 9:30 (started at maybe 8:00). Has this happened to anyone else? What the…? In the meantime, I’ve gained about a half-inch NBP and BP, plus fatter base girth.

Maybe your ligs are so strong that even in the BTC position, the tunica is forced to take on a substantial portion of the weight? That’s a complete guess. Someone more informed might have a better explanation. In any event, it seems to be working .. so keep it up :P

Whatever you conclude it sounds like a nice position to be in. How many times have you rechecked your LOT since discovering this and over how long of a time period?
Could it simply be a temporary lig reaction post hanging?

And congrats on the gains. A half inch in a few months is sweet!

Those are both bright ideas. I’ll check the LOT a few more times over the next few days to make sure it’s not a post-hanging artifact. If it’s not, maybe Spiro’s right. In any case, it’s not a bad thing with respect to my PE prospects; I’m just wondering about its implications for LOT theory. And also whether I’m unique in this experience.
