This will be my first post here. I’ve been PEing for a long while on and off very sporadically (about two years). Now I have all the privacy in the world starting from a little over a month ago, so I decided to get back into it. I want to point this out first: The whole time I’ve been PEing I thought it was mostly bullshit. You know .. You come on forums like this or mattersofsize (where I also **used** to post .. Stay away from there now because every thread is spammed with DLD advertising, which feeds the “PE must be bullshit” thing) and you read about people making huge gaines >1” to over 2” gains BPEL and you kind think “no way”. I’m very skeptical, I’m very much that guy, and I’m sure most of the lurkers reading this are the exact same. At one point (especially from going to MOS) I was convinced the majority of posters were actually 4-5 people tops having advertising conversations with themselves. But what kept me going is the fact that I did gain, slightly. I would say much less than a quarter inch BPEL. But my EQ was better, much more sensitive (I don’t cum easily, now I do) and my flaccid hang was longer. My exercises started off using the bathmate for about three months with moderate jelquing before I stopped all together. To me, unless your very serious about pumping, jelquing and pretty much everything else to allow for expansion (increased girth), any pump is more or less a sex toy IMO. My penis is a little on the fat side to begin with, already hurting my girlfriend slightly, so I stopped. I then got into the VLC tugger, specifically in conjunction with the SG for foreskin restoration and also manual stretching. I also have not been too diligent with this either, however I for sure have more skin. This does interest me greatly because it pisses me off to no end that I am cut. I have been lifting very hard at the gym for the past year or so, so I am constantly fatigued. Doing manual exercises, IMO, is almost as hard as lifting at the gym (if you’re tugging the hell out of him). I would literally sweat like I were working out when I did manual exercising.

Therefore my penis was conditioned to harsh treatment. That or he was pretty tough to begin with. So that brings me to hanging.

At first when I read about hanging, I thought those people must be absolutely insane. Especially those who hang with socks or by squeezing two sticks around it .. Yikes (I know this is an obvious foot and mouth statement). You do (lets face it) hear about people making the most length gains by hanging, however, and veterans very much advocate it as a “must” exercise if you’re serious about length gains.. So I got more into it. I attempted to hang using a thick wrap and a hose clamp .. Lets just say that didn’t go well. I did this to try and save some money, but also I thought I could make it work given some ingenuity. I say get a bib hanger starter. I know it’s $100 bucks, and my first thought was “for what?”. When I actually got it I understood. It is definitely a very nice piece of equipment. The SG is a cheap POS made of plastic and mass produced cast aluminum metal parts that break very easily, and cost much more, as are all traction devises like those. The bib hanger is very much not that at all. Given that I know what goes into casting custom parts and what not, each bib hanger is made from hand and done very nicely. After A LOT of trial and error (I can’t stress that enough) I was able to very comfortably hang 2.5 pounds. Then 5 pounds.. Then 7.5 .. Then I got to 10 pounds and thought “Holy fuck”. But I was doing it. And I was really feeling it as well. I still to this day only stretch SD or BTC. I would do 20 minute sets, at least 3 a day. I usually take weekends off because I have better things to do. I then got to 12.5 pounds, and now I can do 3 sets of 15 lbs. Here’s the part that made me skeptical about posting. I’ve only been hanging for a little over a month. DO NOT do this. This is probably retarded. No .. It is retarded. But like I said .. He’s kind of conditioned to it and I have a high pain tolerance, and I feel like I was getting fatigued. However, I have not even come close to injuring myself, my glans doesn’t discolor too much or get cold (only during the last 5 minutes does it get a little colder) and like I said I can keep going three sets in a row. Usually I drop down weight by my 3rd set, and the even more weight my 4th, but for the most part it’s pretty consistent. Hanging does hurt like hell. If you are new to this, or better yet a sane human being, take it easy. It teaches you the valuable virtue of not being a douche and ignoring your ego. Mostly from working out, I know what something is enough, in this case hanging 12.5 lbs wasn’t quite doing it for me after three weeks. 15 lbs right now seems to be the perfect sweet spot for me. I have to say that I’m a little addicted to hanging now, and here’s why:

I went from 6.5” BPEL to 6.75” BPEL in that time. If someone else wrote this and I was reading it I would think BS but take it or leave it. If I can get to 7” BPEL I’ll be sooooooooooooo happy. I’m going to stay at 15lbs for a while because for me, at this weight, it seriously feels like my penis is being pulled out of me, and any more weight I feel like really just injure me. I end all my workouts by wearing my SG with the VLC for at least an hour followed by ten minutes of jelquing then finally I masturbate. I usually do this late at night while I’m playing league of legends with my friends, my girlfriend is away at grad school so during the week I’m by myself aaalllllllllll the time. I can’t weight to keep you all posted, forgive me for not being more active.

Ps. I was very close to taking pictures, however I don’t want pictures of my weiner circulating around the net. So like everyone else .. Take what I say with a grain of salt ;)

Yes, well, if you’ve been lurking a while you must know that I have a reputation around here for being certifiably insane. I mean, really, what sane person wouldn’t spend $100 to get the same results you can get with a $1 (or free) device?

Hanging shouldn’t hurt, Saltysea. If it does, you are doing something wrong.

Your routine sounds like it would murder me. We are very different in those regards (penile damage sensitivity), and I think it could have a lot to do with you being thicker (more padding/protection for the internals) and me being genuinely thin.

However, we both share the same skeptical attitude, it seems. Your post was great to read because of this - I liked your assurances that at first, you thought PE was ‘mostly bullshit’. I completely agree about the other forums - MOS, PEgym, etc. Hell, even certain posters/threads on this site can get you thinking that way (ridiculous claims - although threads like this are fewer and far between here). It can really get you thinking that all of this is a lie.

The treasure lies when you stay and read long enough at Thunder’sPlace. When enough wisdom is eventually built up from experience (hours and hours) on this forum, it can miraculously materialize into a bigger dick. One way or another. I’m grateful that I stuck around here for over a year and a half. Even though I was completely hopeless, because I found out traditional PE (jelqs in particular) was ineffective on my thin, overly sensitive unit. So sure, I’m one of the guys who girth PE techniques can’t safely work for - but thanks to Thunders’ I’ve found other alternatives for my girth problems, through the help one of the many kind and humble people on these forums. It’s a medical procedure, and it’s non surgical (injections via blunt cannula) - but because this ‘solution’ to my girth problems is still very new and untested in the long term, I’d rather anyone interested PM me for details rather than me openly stating it in this thread.

That being said, I’m hoping that length exercises such as manual stretching and hanging may produce gains for me in the future without injury. Time will tell - I begin my hanging routine in a few months, so this thread of yours was good to read, Salty.
I sure as hell won’t be hanging w/ your weight though!! Howabout .5 to 3 lbs max, once every other day for one set of 10 - 20 minutes?? My dick is a featherweight compared to yours, lol. Good luck bro

I’d just like to point out to you that sometimes, ESPECIALLY with something as sensitive and nerve-ridden as the penis, drastic injury could always be MUCH closer than you think. I know that for me, my (serious) injury came using a routine that did not hurt me the first month or so, but suddenly after a few months my dick had just had enough and the pains suddenly began mid workout, doing something I had done many times before without prior complication. The damage was cumulative, and the signs unfortunately didn’t show themselves until more than 3 months down the road of my routine. When they did show up, it was mid workout and the pain was un-believable - I didn’t even know the penis could produce feelings like that. It was like horrid jolts all down my dick and deep inside, and it was a weird type of pain I havent felt before. Can’t call it ‘stinging’, can’t call it ‘burning’, can’t call it ‘aching’…have to give it it’s own category of OMFG I’ve fucked up the nerves in my dick a little bit. It was the worst type of pains - annoying like nails on a chalkboard but painful at the same time. And this pain has persisted for over a year.

So be careful man. 15 lbs is a fuckload of weight to be hanging from your dick so soon. The very last thing you want to do is turn what used to be a source of pleasure into an unbelievable source of agony/pain. I personally brushed much too close to this line with PE (jelqing), and caught a real glimpse of what it could be like to have a dick that wants to fuck, gets hard to fuck, but hurts when fucking (pressure on the nerve thus causing the same horrid pains described above, during sex). It’s the worst pain ever. Over one year of rest later and it’s better, but not completely gone. Nerve injuries are a bitch and are extremely slow healing, I recommend you avoid them!

Not telling you what to do, of course, just offering insight. Do what works for you bro! Keep us posted w/ the rest of your hanging and don’t get injured!

Yes I seemed to have sounded arrogant there .. Don’t get me wrong I have injured myself, especially when I was pumping with the bathmate, more than once. I’ve learned to be prudent on the subject, which is an absolute must for any workout routine. Listen to your body, you know when something is too much. Like I said I do light jelquing to return much blood flow, followed by masturbation. I don’t just masturbate however, I try to get as hard as possible. If everything seems in line, even with the fatigue, then I believe everything is fine down there. I can go off on a tangent about jelquing and how beneficial long term chronic practice can be, my story is somewhat of a sensitive one to me but in my opinion offers irrefutable evidence that jelquing, aiding in blood circulation, really does work to promote healing and regeneration.

You didn’t hurt my feelings, but I do find it arrogant of you to barge in here with your first post, telling about your reckless and stupid behavior in your first month, and claim to be preaching responsibility. You slam a attachment design that’s been used by more than just one person (to put it mildly) for over ten years, that you haven’t tried, and by extension, its inventor, who has almost 17 years of PE experience.

Over ten years ago, Bib sent me one of each of the two sizes he had, to try. I would have endorsed them if I could, but I couldn’t get either to work satisfactorily, and found their lack of adjustment frustrating, which provided part of my impetus to develop a more adjustable hanger. Which could be made anywhere in the world. For pennies.

(BTW, how exactly does less than a month on Thundersplace qualify you as a “long time lurker?”)
