Long time lurker, now posting my hanging experiences :
This will be my first post here. I’ve been PEing for a long while on and off very sporadically (about two years). Now I have all the privacy in the world starting from a little over a month ago, so I decided to get back into it. I want to point this out first: The whole time I’ve been PEing I thought it was mostly bullshit. You know .. You come on forums like this or mattersofsize (where I also **used** to post .. Stay away from there now because every thread is spammed with DLD advertising, which feeds the “PE must be bullshit” thing) and you read about people making huge gaines >1” to over 2” gains BPEL and you kind think “no way”. I’m very skeptical, I’m very much that guy, and I’m sure most of the lurkers reading this are the exact same. At one point (especially from going to MOS) I was convinced the majority of posters were actually 4-5 people tops having advertising conversations with themselves. But what kept me going is the fact that I did gain, slightly. I would say much less than a quarter inch BPEL. But my EQ was better, much more sensitive (I don’t cum easily, now I do) and my flaccid hang was longer. My exercises started off using the bathmate for about three months with moderate jelquing before I stopped all together. To me, unless your very serious about pumping, jelquing and pretty much everything else to allow for expansion (increased girth), any pump is more or less a sex toy IMO. My penis is a little on the fat side to begin with, already hurting my girlfriend slightly, so I stopped. I then got into the VLC tugger, specifically in conjunction with the SG for foreskin restoration and also manual stretching. I also have not been too diligent with this either, however I for sure have more skin. This does interest me greatly because it pisses me off to no end that I am cut. I have been lifting very hard at the gym for the past year or so, so I am constantly fatigued. Doing manual exercises, IMO, is almost as hard as lifting at the gym (if you’re tugging the hell out of him). I would literally sweat like I were working out when I did manual exercising.
Therefore my penis was conditioned to harsh treatment. That or he was pretty tough to begin with. So that brings me to hanging.
At first when I read about hanging, I thought those people must be absolutely insane. Especially those who hang with socks or by squeezing two sticks around it .. Yikes (I know this is an obvious foot and mouth statement). You do (lets face it) hear about people making the most length gains by hanging, however, and veterans very much advocate it as a “must” exercise if you’re serious about length gains.. So I got more into it. I attempted to hang using a thick wrap and a hose clamp .. Lets just say that didn’t go well. I did this to try and save some money, but also I thought I could make it work given some ingenuity. I say get a bib hanger starter. I know it’s $100 bucks, and my first thought was “for what?”. When I actually got it I understood. It is definitely a very nice piece of equipment. The SG is a cheap POS made of plastic and mass produced cast aluminum metal parts that break very easily, and cost much more, as are all traction devises like those. The bib hanger is very much not that at all. Given that I know what goes into casting custom parts and what not, each bib hanger is made from hand and done very nicely. After A LOT of trial and error (I can’t stress that enough) I was able to very comfortably hang 2.5 pounds. Then 5 pounds.. Then 7.5 .. Then I got to 10 pounds and thought “Holy fuck”. But I was doing it. And I was really feeling it as well. I still to this day only stretch SD or BTC. I would do 20 minute sets, at least 3 a day. I usually take weekends off because I have better things to do. I then got to 12.5 pounds, and now I can do 3 sets of 15 lbs. Here’s the part that made me skeptical about posting. I’ve only been hanging for a little over a month. DO NOT do this. This is probably retarded. No .. It is retarded. But like I said .. He’s kind of conditioned to it and I have a high pain tolerance, and I feel like I was getting fatigued. However, I have not even come close to injuring myself, my glans doesn’t discolor too much or get cold (only during the last 5 minutes does it get a little colder) and like I said I can keep going three sets in a row. Usually I drop down weight by my 3rd set, and the even more weight my 4th, but for the most part it’s pretty consistent. Hanging does hurt like hell. If you are new to this, or better yet a sane human being, take it easy. It teaches you the valuable virtue of not being a douche and ignoring your ego. Mostly from working out, I know what something is enough, in this case hanging 12.5 lbs wasn’t quite doing it for me after three weeks. 15 lbs right now seems to be the perfect sweet spot for me. I have to say that I’m a little addicted to hanging now, and here’s why:
I went from 6.5” BPEL to 6.75” BPEL in that time. If someone else wrote this and I was reading it I would think BS but take it or leave it. If I can get to 7” BPEL I’ll be sooooooooooooo happy. I’m going to stay at 15lbs for a while because for me, at this weight, it seriously feels like my penis is being pulled out of me, and any more weight I feel like really just injure me. I end all my workouts by wearing my SG with the VLC for at least an hour followed by ten minutes of jelquing then finally I masturbate. I usually do this late at night while I’m playing league of legends with my friends, my girlfriend is away at grad school so during the week I’m by myself aaalllllllllll the time. I can’t weight to keep you all posted, forgive me for not being more active.
