Ligs "slip" when hanging?

Ligs "slip" when hanging?

If this has been discussed I apologize—my search yielded no results. I’m wondering if what I’m experiencing with my Bib Hanger is normal: I wrap and tighten everything up and when weight is added (currently just 2 lbs. as I’m returning to hanging from a long break) the ligs the hanger is grabbing seem to “slip past” some of the other internals somehow, with the end result that the entire apparatus moves up about 1/2” to 1”. If I remove the weight and pull the head of my penis I can feel these things slip past each other again to typical position. It’s a very distinct feeling.

To clarify the hanger is absolutely NOT resting on my glans after this happens and it appears to be comfortable—there is no pressure buildup or circulation loss that I can detect. Does anyone else know what I’m talking about, and should I be concerned? I’ve tried several adjustments and basically have the hanger as tight as it will go. My wrap is a cloth layer with silver Theraband on top.

I doubt it can be a matter of ligs, anyway.

Don’t know if this is related to your problem, Dep, but you have to leave in the penis some amount of blood, and attach the hanger not too far from the base; this way, internals will make a ‘plug’, avoiding the hanger from slipping off from your penis.

There is noway the ligs are moving, this isn’t possible without some type of tear or injury. In that case you would have to feel it all the time.

Either the hanger is too loose and/or the under cloth probably isn’t making a tight “connection” with the theraband. Just for kicks try the wrap without the cloth and see how it feels.

Let me know.

Yes I find this helps. Also if there is no blood in the glans when hanging it slips off far too easy.

I find it hard to squeeeze all the blood from the glans

Thanks for the input, gentlemen! Looking more closely at some anatomy pictures I think perhaps what is happening is simply that the sensation I feel is due to the remaining blood in the shaft gradually being compressed as the weight is hung, forming the “plug” marinera mentioned. I will definitely try hanging a little bit farther back and without the HTW wrap underneath the Theraband and will report back tomorrow. There was no pain so I don’t think anything was necessarily wrong, I just want to make sure I have my technique down pat before I get to more substantial weights.

Sounds good. Hanging has a not short learning curve. :)

I made the following adjustments: slightly reduced the bottom gap on my Bib Hanger, got rid of the HTW in favor of just Theraband and moved the hanger back about 1/2” and it worked great! Thanks for the input.

At the beginning of every hanging session there is ALWAYS discomfort for a few minutes while my penis adjusts to the hanger. One thing i do when i start my first set, in order to offset the discomfort is while sitting in my chair, I rest the base of the hanger on a small flat piece of wood right at the edge of the chair. This block is approximately 3”x3” and 1 inch thick. So the flat part of the block is at approx. 45% on the end of the seat .After attaching the hanger and weights I position the base of the hanger on the block at the front edge of the block and the weights extend as normal. I have found this allows my body time to adapt to the weight and hanger attachment. After approx. 5 minutes i remove the book and hang without it. And if i start to get fatigued I’ll use the flat wood piece to finish the set.

Also I hung for a long time with the cloth wrap under the theraband similar to what you describe and hung significant amounts of weight. IMO, this should be avoid at all cost if possible, the reason being is that in order to maximize hanging time you must have a tight grip on the tunica and with the cloth this is very difficult. Looking back i almost want to say this was a waste of time however i can’t prove this.

that all for now.

That makes sense Led.

I find the same thing.

Bandage wrap can create slippage.
