I have started using an overhead pulley system so that when I am in bed I can pull straight out while lying on my back. I really get a good pull by taking one leg and crossing it over the cord to the pulley, so that I end up mostly on my stomach. The pull is then BTC and very intense. Be sure to warm up for this one.

That’s clever. Where exactly are the weights hanging? That is, if they were to drop, where would they land?

If you have control of the weights from your bed you might consider changing the dead weights to Bungee cord instead that way you can vary the stress over a broader range.

I use two pulleys so that the wts hang over my feet, but I lay at an angle so that if the unthinkable should happen, they would fall on the bed. Also they are only about 8 inches above the bed when I am i position. I have a nylon cord tied to the wts, so that I can pull them over to me to easily change wts. I like the PEwts from Monty530 because I can always go up or down a little from my normal 8 lbs. Thanks for the suggestion, Monty, about the Bungee cord. I have tried it before but I do like the dead wts better.
