Is it beneficial, harmful, or unnecessary to do Kegels while hanging?

I also find it is an interesting question, I am surprised there arent comments. Same question could be applied to extenders?

I’d say do it as you want to keep circulation going as good as possible. That can be a problem while hanging.

I figure it’s trying to push blood in the glans and I’m not sure that’s a good thing while hanging. That’s strictly my thoughts and why I don’t.

I’m about to start hanging and so I’m trying to understand all angles of the practice.

So my thoughts are that one of the key things with hanging is to take breaks to refresh blood circulation to the glans and the compressed areas of the shaft. It seems to me that kegeling can at least help to ensure fresh blood circulation to the part of the ding-dong above the hanger. Isn’t this the area that is getting the effect of the stretch?

I know that stretching and especially hanging shouldn’t be done with an erection and that kegeling can “firm” up the ding-dong somewhat but is there any harm in kegeling while being stretched by a hanger?

I do know there are people that kegel while hanging.

I do not only because I am trying to keep as little blood in the head as possible. Most people that get the red dots, lack of sensation (numbness), even a tear by where you urinate, are due to having to much blood trapped in the head. These problems only get worse as you increase weight.

Fresh blood isn’t essential as long as you keep your sets under 20 minutes and circulate new blood in for several minutes in between sets.
