Is a Noose Attachment Dangerous?

For hanging or traction, what is your experience with noose attachments? Not rope or coarse material. Silicone or rubber tubing for example. My original main noose hanger was silicone rubber I think from a slingshot with a telephone line cord through it for rigidity. I used a hose washer to cinch it down around the glans. In my first attempts at hanging, I was able to get up to 15lbs for a very short period, but hung 10 somewhat comfortably if my memory serves me. It was a really long time ago and all the rage once upon a time with extenders and hangers. I believe it was the main reason for my loss of sensitivity. I am wondering now though if I hung for too long between breaks. I am considering trying again for short periods of time, say 10 mintues a session and only until I get heavy and go another route. If viable, for how heavy and for how long? What is your experience? Viable? Damaging?

I used an extender(with a noose) for months and stopped using it due to damage to the skin behind the glans which then scarred; a vac extender would be a better option. I’ve read vac hangers only work after certain weight and it may cause blisters. There’re many threads on TP that have the instructions to make a hanger.

I’m using a vac hanger. It’s pushing it’s limit at 7lbs causing what I call bruising. See the pic in my progress/pic thread. I’ve tried clamp style hangers, at least the earlier models and versions I’ve made, and couldn’t find a comfort I was happy with. I’m considering one someone else is selling however, but after I get heavier.

I have a bib hanger which I didn’t use much; it always pinches my skin because it isn’t tall enough. My suggestion would be the homemade AFB hanger(The AFB Hanger). It’s cheap, no need to wrap and it’s the most comfortable; it’s what I’ll use if my girth routine doesn’t work.

I made one like it before or similar in theory. I can’t remember the specifics of why it wasn’t in regular use. Might consider it again for sure. In my past, the noose was for sure the most comfortable. I’m hoping someone who has used the noose would have some juicy tid-bits I hadn’t considered or a consensus of don’t do it to steer me away.
