Is 30 mins per day on medium weight too little?

Hi
I’m currently hanging for about 2x15 min sets at about 10lbs or roughly 4.5kg.
Due to my low LOT angle according to BIBs theory both sets are over the shoulder, though I have been thinking about doing 3 x 10 min sets with 2 OTS and one SO.

I’ve read threads with people doing high weight low reps and low weight high reps, but what of a medium weight that I am using (in relation to my conditioning and current ability)

Personally I cant afford more than 45 mins hanging, and this is a stretch.
I dont hang every day either, though I think I might try for a while. I also do alot of manual stretching which is why I’m slightly held back on hanging so much…

I just wanted some advice on whether what I’m doing is too little…

I have been wondering the same thing personally. I hang 10lbs as well for 2x20min. Wondering if I should add another set or just extend the current set by 10mins to 30mins each.

I do feel an alright stretch when done but never any fatigue or like its been through a workout.

Me, too. In my case, it’s 10 lb. for about 45 min. twice a day (morning/evening). It’s all I can fit in. Is it enough? (also pumping and clamping)

Yeah I think I read a post by Dino saying the same thing.

But thats nearly 90mins of hanging a day….And I remember reading that Bib got up to some crazy weights…

See I know alot of us talk about what Bib did and that good and all, but I truly think that Bib was just one lucky bastard with a lot of time on his hands. I think we really need to focus one what works for guy with limited time due to family, careers, and or college. I think the key is to reach fatigue. If you haven’t reached it that day and you stop for the day then you have just wasted your time. If you only hang for 30 mins a day and reach fatigue in the first 10 mins, I would say that is time well spent.

On what little experience I have, I agree.

For me, fatigue is difficult to reach and sustain otherwise.

One of the questions I asked was basically about fatigue in this thread I started.

The reason I asked is because I have read that ‘feeling’ the result of a work out is bad. And that it may lead to toughening the tissues prematurely, obviously making gains more difficult or take more time to achieve.

But I have read of Bib’s hanging approach and he seemed to have pursued fatigue, then do all that was possible to maintain it? Where other guys like xenolith?, and those that follow his protocol, seem to believe less is more (if I can simplify it that much).

I suppose there are proponents on both sides of these training regimen. But my question is, is feeling fatigue a good thing or not?

I think the amount of weight and sets are fine, as long as you are not noticing any ill effects.

It’s the ‘per day’ part that I have trouble with. I recommend one day on, two days off with some sort of ADS on the off days.

Start slow. You have a long way to go.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.

Mr. Happy,

Hello!

Are you referring to a one - on, two - off program for hanging?

Or does this apply to the newbie routine as well? If so, I thought the Newbie routine referred to two - on, one - off? Although, I am aware that off days should be used when negative P.I.’s pop up.

I am only jelqing at the moment. I can’t seem to get a good grip on my unit without gripping right behind the glans. So I was thinking I would just condition with jelqing - at no rushed pace & be grateful for whatever gains I will hopefully come across - then hang for limited time and weight in a way that would mimic manual stretches, since I am trying for length initially.

Any thoughts on this?

Guys ,I’m by no means an expert, but have had some success hanging ten pounds.I do three, fifteen minute sets rather than two twenty minute sets. It’s alot more comfortable and I’m not squirming around that last set watching the clock.I gained about one quarter inch erect length from hanging this way.It took about nine months but it was worth it to me .

Can someone clarify for me. Feeling fatigue should be on your penis flesh right, as I have to stop sometimes because my skin gets sore, which wouldnt be considered fatigue would it…?

Sacred,if your skin gets sore, you need to try a different wrapping technique. The fatigue we are describing is internal. You can feel it in the ligs, and in your gut when you get a good fatigue. The deep gut feeling is what I usually shoot for.

Whoa, I’ve never had a feeling that intense. Ive had sore ligs at the base usually from alot of stretching. But never the gut feeling, and never been that worn out from hanging. Though I think OTS needs more pull than SD and SO

Actually, I have a q about the fatigue thing.

Is a feeling that kindof resembles the butterfly feeling you get when your nervous or excited similar to the gut thing you guys are talking about?
