Starting tomorrow, I’m increasing my hanging weight to eight pounds. I noticed an increase of about 1/4” in EL when I increased from 3 to 5 lbs. So, I’ve got high hopes for this increase. Wish me luck.

Have your gains dried up at 5lbs? How long have you been doing 5lbs for?

I’d have to say a couple of months. Maybe longer. It seems like 5 lbs gave me 1/4” relatively quickly and that was about it. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not complaining about 1/4”. That’s awesome. I just think 5 lbs has given me all that it can.

Andgrowing, how many hours a day are you hanging? Are you combining it with any jelqing?

Ive been hanging for over a year now. I wouldnt recomend jumping up 3 pounds. Ive always went up 1 pound at a time. Trust me i got injuured before because going up in weight to fast. Be smart trust me!

I’m only doing hanging. Also, and I know what you’re going to say, but I only hang 1 hour/day, five days per week (and those are ideal conditions).

find something that ways a pound in your house - a shoe - a bottle - there’s all kinds of options. Also have you tried different angles at 5 lbs?

If you jump three pounds you’re risking an injury.

I would listen to what people are saying. That is a stupid move that is for sure. Like i said ive been hanging for well over a year now 7 days a week. And i would NEVER recomend that but hey its your penis

Go to playit again sports walmart or a sporting goods place. The sell 1lb weights. I have plenty of them there like 3 bucks. Well worth!

I have tried different angles. I’ve tried standing, BTC, and in between the two. I’m not saying I have no patience, but I like to think I can read the writing on the wall.

I will try increasing the weight by only one pound, though. I’ll see how that goes.

Yeah , that is a 60% increase in weight. You should get hurt.

Good point. However, when I first started with hanging I increased weight from 3 lbs. to 5 lbs. which would be an increase of 67%. Still, your point is taken.

I started with 5lbs, I am now in my fifth month. I am going up 2 1/2 each month. Now at 15lbs. 2 1/2 is a signifiacnt jump. I feel it significantly each time. I would be careful with 3lbs.

Well, I’ve tried it and didn’t have any problems. I think I’m ready for it.
