I just started hanging and love the lig stretch.

Feels very good! Question for those who hang. Do you unwrap and stretch or jelq or pump inbetween sets of hanging?

I have been just resting for the 10min and leaving it wrapped

It’s recommended to rest for 10 minutes and warm up again to restore proper circulation to your penis. I would say jelqing inbetween sets after the 10 minutes would be beneficial, but for me, manual stretching doesn’t do squat anymore.

Personally I time my rest periods for 10 minutes in total, although I set my timer for 7 or 8 minutes (since I’m pretty slow at re-wrapping— that takes me 2-3 minutes).

I usually just do jelqs & kegels after… If I am already pushing myself with the most weight I can handle, then it just doesn’t seem necessary to do much ‘extra’ in between sets. I guess its your personal preference… if you want to do extra things between sets you can. But if you are pushing yourself hanging, then you’re potentially creating an injury risk. This is why it’s usually recommended you work on length & girth separately… doing both at once is simply to much. I’m sure you’ve heard the advice: length first & girth second.

Anyway, hanging is intense; if you’re doing it right, it should be enough. Just Kegels & light jelqs afterwards, and maybe shakes during your rests (if you’re not unwrapping) is normally all you need.

I’m partial to a nice BTT stretch in between sets

I am thinking of using an ADS though— at least on days where I know I just wont have time to hang. This way I don’t lose progress. My hanging has often been inconsistent which has actually caused me to lose a lot of progress. This is why I’m starting to think of alternatives…

How inconsistent? I mean there’s some weeks where I got 3-4 days without any PE and I still gain..

Sometimes I can go for a few weeks without much opportunity to PE. This is why I am thinking i need to learn to use ADS—this way I never lose my gains again. An ADS might also be a good way to “cement” my gains once I reach my goals. Anyway, I don’t want to hijack this thread ;)

Then again, I think we have answered the question—maybe that’s why the original poster is not back yet.
