Okay I am now hanging 8.8lbs. I do 3 sets of 20 mins per day. The problem is, my upper shaft is very sore afterwards. Not bad sore, but uncomfortable. Is this normal?

Sounds perfect to me. That soreness is often a good sign. I rarely get sore anymore, but when I do I make a note of what I have done to elicit that soreness and do it more often.

Of course, I’m assuming that this soreness is not coinciding with any problems (erectile dysfunction, burning when urinating, etc)

Direction of hanging that got you the soreness?


Were you hanging straight down, straight out, over the shoulder, over the leg or what?

I think I’d like to start a thread about my questions regarding this….

Straight down, and over both legs.
