ideas on holding back skin so I can hang?

Hello all,

I’d love to start hanging, and i’ve tried in the past, but because i’m uncut when I wrap and pull my skin back, when i get all wrapped up and get the hanging device on, my damn skin just rolls down and the whole contraption falls off.

A lot of the uncut guys are lucky because they don’t have to worry about that extra skin, but us poor uncut guys have a real hard time with this.

Do any of you have any good ideas on how i could hold the skin back while i hang (and please don’t say get circumsized or ‘just hold it back’). I’m hoping one of the uncut guys out there has found a good way around this problem.

I don’t know why you would want to hold back the skin. The thing is, you want the hanger to grasp the internal structures and stress them, rather than the skin.

What type of hanger are you using? Whatever it is, you need to get it grasping the shaft, or behind the SIDES of the head, in order to get an effective stretch.

I’m uncut and have experienced the same difficulties. What works best for me is to retract the skin so that a half-inch or so of the glans is exposed.Now hold your penis by the head and stretch it out, keeping the same amount of glans exposed. Start wrapping with your cloth material, all the way down to the base. Holding your penis in the same gently stretched position, wrap with your theraband. When you attach the hanger, again make sure that the same half-inch at the tip of the glans is exposed. When you hang your weight, the hanger will slide forward to anchor on the sides of the glans, but not too much foreskin will get pushed forward to cause discomfort. Though I’m not yet an entirely trouble-free hanger, I have made a reassuring amount of improvement, and the process I’ve just described has worked quite well for me. Good luck.

I’m uncut aswell, and I too experienced the same problem regarding skin.. What sucks is if you don’t pull it back, the skin is taking alot of the stress rather than the ligs… never found a good solution that worked for me so I just let the skin stretch enough so that I could compensate for my uncut state…. however, recently I’ve realized that I should be hanging OTS since my low LOT… and that doesn’t feel like I’m stressing the skin much at all now…

I’m un-cut, and I’ve just started hanging (with the captn’s wench). Through UIStrike’s advice on a previous uncut thread I wrapped from the base up to the head (I wrap using t-shirt material), not pulling back any skin. This seemed to fix the whole skin stretch problem altogether, along with tightening slightly more and finding the perfect distance between the wench(hanger) and head, which I’m sure if you experiment with, you will find what is perfect for you.

I have just started hanging and I have serious problems because of being uncut it seems. The skin at the base breaks and bleeds, and this is only with 2.5 lbs. It breaks when I jelq or do manual stretching too, although it goes away from jelqing, once it adapts. I will have to wait and see if it adapts to hanging aswel. But even if it does, it surely shows that my skin must be taking a lot of the stress. What can I do? Is it because of being uncut that my skin breaks and bleeds at the base?

It might not be just the light weight, but your angle of hang. Usually, SO hanging will not put too much stress on the skin. You might go with a higher angle, and then slowly lower it over time. This will allow your skin to stretch at a slower rate, rather than all at once.

Bib, thankyou, that sounds like sound advice. I can see the logic in that idea. The skin breaks only on the top side of the penis, which fits with your idea because I have been hanging BTC which places more pull on the top side skin.

I also couldn’t figure out how to wrap at first, due to being uncut, but I have now found a way which causes less tug on the skin at the base, by rolling back my foreskin, then pulling on the head, whilst wrapping, which allows the wrap to clamp the meat under the skin instead of just skin, also leaving a bit more looseness of skin behind the wrap, thus stretching skin less when hanging.

However, there might still be one problem, I am not sure yet. Once I have wrapped with my forskin back and my dick extended outwards, once I let go after wrapping, the foreskin slides back over and the wrap comes right up to the head once i start hanging, even though it was an inch behind the head when in extended stretch with the forskin back for wrapping. Could this be bad for my head when hanging weights, or does this same thing happen to guys without foreskin? Does the wrap clamp in the right place behind the head when you wrap, but pull forwards with the skin when you hang? I do feel some pull on the head but not much. I feel a slight soreness in the head after hanging at times, but it is very mild. I am wondering if it is actually clamping the right place, even though it apears to move forwards due to the skin being pulled forwards. It certainly clamps nicely 1 inch behind the head when I wrap, so what is happening? Does this happen to uncut guys aswel? Is it just an illusion due to the nature of the skin on top, whilst the wrap is gripping the right place under the skin in reality?

You need to try and keep the head extended when you attach and tighten the hanger. It takes a little practice. If you are right handed, then after loosely attaching the hanger, grasp the head between your thumb and forefinger of your left hand and extend the head. Then tighten with your right hand.

When this is done correctly, as the weight is applied, the internal structures will be grasped, and they will bunch toward the head giving a good cushion to the head.

It can be on both points. Usually, when there is too much stress on the head, it is very evident.

It depends on the amount of weight being used. The obvious compression of the internal structures would happen to me at about 15 lbs or so.

When the hanger slides forward, there are two things which may be happening. One is bad, and one is good. Either the hanger grasps the internal structures, and they are compressed toward the head, or the hanger is not tight enough, and the internal structures, the entire shaft other than the skin, “flows” through the hanger. In the later case, the hanger usually comes to rest directly on the head, coronal ridge, and can cause some damage.

As relates to the skin and internal structures, I do not see what difference being cut or uncut can make. You may be very correct that there is an illusion with uncut guys.

I know exactly what your talking about Gottagrow,
I’m uncut and the exact same thing happens to me.
If the skin is over the head before I wrap n’ hang,
I can wrap real easy and put on the wench
(that’s what I’m using to hang right now) real easy,
but then when I go to hang the skin around the base of my penis will burn like hell from being stretched too much.

So, logic would dictate you pulling the skin below the head, right?
Wrong, then the skin slides over the head bringing everything with it, which
also hurts like hell, as the weight pulls everything around your glans.
Real pain in the ass.

So what I do now, is before I wrap, I do some long,
hard lateral stretches, then get the top of the foreskin just a tad below
the middle of the head, by just about a 1/16” below where the exact middle of the head is, looking down on it from above.

Then, I eyeball about half an inch to three quarters of an inch below the head, on the shaft, and that’s where the top of the wrap goes.

Now I know it’s difficult to hold the skin, with one hand while trying to wrap, using a bit of tape to start the wrap sure helps.
Also, having the wrap cut to a good length already, also helps, so you won’t have to be grabbing any scissors.
I know it’s obvious, I just want to be thorough.
The wrap I’m using right now, comes in long rolls.

Now, once your done wrapping, you should have already had a piece of tape set aside to finish the wrap, put it on, your wraps done.

Now, when you let go, the foreskin may or may not move over the head, depending on how snug you wrapped and your flaccid state.

I prefer to try and wrap so it doesn’t but if it does, it doesn’t matter,
because what you’ll do is at this point, get your hanger ready,
pull the skin to exactly the same place as before you wrapped,
then with the top of your hanger (the end towards the glans)
lined up a tad below the wrap, apply the hanger,
making sure as you do, the top of the foreskin stays 1/16” below
the middle of your head. Should be perfect.

This is the only way I’ve found to do it with just the right amount of skin stretch on/around the base and without everything just smashing into the bottom of your head.

The way I figured this out, wasn’t really from hanging but from manual stretching, when I put an ok sign behind the head while the skin was over the head, it felt like I was gonna rip the skin all around the base of my penis off, if I did it while it was behind it, the skin would roll over the head, then I tried it inbetween and voila, perfection.

It’s a little more work, we’ll have to be patient if we want to hang, I don’t think it’s easy for cut guys to understand what’s going on unless they actually seen it. I know they have it easier when it comes to hanging though.

Hopes this helps, if I figure out anything better I’ll post it here.

I tried this, but whenever I wrap anything that far behind the head it always slides forward to the head, even if it is tight. I tried also tightening my hanger (wench) to as much as I could manage however it still slips forward. Any idea as to why this is happening? Thanks for reply.
