How much did you gain by hanging?

I personally to go all manual, but I saw most people on this forum seem to hang instead.

So I’m curious, how much did you manage to gain and in how much time by hanging? Also, why do you prefer to hang than go manual, because it is easier or because you gain more that way?


10/05/14 >> 7.7x5.8 (start stats on 10/05/14) / Short term goal : 8x6 (achieved on 14/06/14 and 23/04/14 respectively)

Mid term goal : 8.5x6.5

Long term goal : 9x7

I’m not an expert by any means, but I suggest that as long as you are gaining by doing manual stretching, keep doing that. I gained very well by doing manual stretching and jelqing but when I switched to hanging, I stopped gaining completely. All bodies are different and respond differently to various exercises. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Keep doing what’s working.

I gained 2” in 14 months. I’ve got customers who have gained 2” in 8 months but they devoted a good portion of their day to heavy hanging and their flaccid saw great improvement as well.

The problem with asking how much someone gains with any one method is it doesn’t take in account how much they do that method and the details of their routine.

Plus people respond differently to different methods.

Manuals are free and you might as well start there. My main complaint with them is I might be able to pull 70 lbs of force on my penis, but I truly don’t know the exact amount of force that I am using and I definitely couldn’t maintain any level of force consistently over significant periods of time. For my personality hanging is great. I know the exact weight and time I am hanging. I also love plotting and analyzing data.

Another thing that I like about hanging is the ability to multitask. I can hang and work on my computer, play video games, whatever. The main thing is to keep track of the 20 minutes so I don’t have circulation problems.

Don’t get me wrong I can make a list of things that I don’t like about hanging. I personally find that the positives outweigh the negatives.

Now in regards to gains, when I read some of the outrageous claims about 3 inch gains in a year, I actually think it is possible. Don’t get me wrong that isn’t normal. It isn’t just the fact that the individual’s physiology must respond well to hanging but the dedication is something that the vast majority of us are not willing to put in.

Due to my kids school schedule and not making hanging an obsession, I have probably done just under 200 hours of hanging since October. Those hours where not all at maximum efficiency, not even close. So when you get someone like Bib who was claiming to hang about 32 hours a week, his hanging hours in 2 months will probably be what I end up hanging in a year. Throw in hanging at the most efficient weight and angle for the majority of that time versus me being forced to reduce weights every time I take a mini break and I truly believe an obsessed person can make amazing gains with hanging.

I do not think this is true. As one of the crazier mods is fond of saying “A majority of guys get a majority of (their) gains from hands on PE.”

I gained 1/4” BPEL and 1/2” BPFSL from the vachanger3 in the space of 4 months. I thought this was awesome seeing that I have long expired my newbie gains and was on a plateau.

So what kind of weights/schedule did you go in with, mebs?

1/2” NBPEL in about 2 mts hanging nearly every day thus far. Have tried manual stretches twice over the years for periods of 6-12 mts and got discouraged after nearly no gains. Wish that I tried hanging years ago!…More people need to perpetuate hanging IMO, but am thankful for the wealth of information about hanging on this forum. Also thankful for the maker of the Captain’s Wench, and also user Monty for his convenient supplies website.

Definititely feel hanging has made me gain the most… So far 0.2 inches in 3 months. It did however give me discoration problems. Darker skin where the hanger bites.

Oops, sorry, missed this post memento. At the start I began with 2.5 lbs and increased it by 0.5” every week after that until I started to reach the 10 lbs mark. When I hung with lower weights I would do really long hours with it because I worked from home, so we were talking 3-4 hours hanging most days, but up to 7 hours one day! With the vachanger it was very easy to get in these type of hours. I basically used the low weights to practice my wrapping technique and condition my penis and glans for heavier weights. I would do 1-2 hour sets typically, until I started getting to the heavier weights (10 lbs+). I hung 6-7 days a week.

Once I got to 10 lbs I started to only hang for 2 hours a day, two 1-hour sets. All my hanging was done BTC, except when it was too intense I would go into SD position. I went up as far as 14 lbs, but it always felt really intense on my glans. I slowly dropped back down in the weight until 11 lbs. I found my sexy-time weight from 10-11 lbs, this was where I got great fatigue but didn’t feel like I was overdoing it. Gains rolled in at this weight and I believe I could have continued to gain at it but alas my girth cried at me to come back home! So I moved back to a girth-focused routine because I was lacking in that department, and had already a long enough schlong. I might go back to hanging in the future, but for now my lovely clamp calls me name ever so sweetly :D

I have been getting pretty consistent gains from manuals and pumping. In fact I only do 20-30 minutes of jelq and 1 hr. of pumping and gains have been crazy. Problem is pumping is discoloring my penis to the point my girl is freaking out (and I have been hurting her) so I have do length only. I will begin hanging in a week or so. I have vac and malehanger. Haven’t decided which one I will use but I hope this is as good as manuals.

My signature says it all. My gains came when I had all day long to hang. I would hang 2-3 hours a day. Wish I still had that time.


Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!
