HI guys,

I want to know how you feel fatigue when hanging ots or so.

I heard you feel it behind the balls. Is it also possible to feel it around your ass? I mean you have problems to sit because something is sore, I remember that I read about it here, but can’t find the post anymore.

The guy was saying that he feels at his lower pelvic or something.

IMO, that is OTS hanging “soreness” not fatigue per se. My experience is that this goes away in a week or so. Don’t chase it with more weight. Fatigue, IMO is simply the inability to continue hanging comfortably. If it “has your attention” through the last few minutes of the set then you are reaching the fatigue state. Try to get to that state quickly and then try to maximize the time spent at it. If you experience negative Physiological Indicators (search for explanation of PI’s), you are hanging too heavy or too long.

Basically I had the feeling that “has my attention” through the last 5 minutes of a set. May be it is soreness or something like that. My problem with the definition of “fatigue” is, that some guys are telling, that when they reach the fatigue state, they can not hang the weight anymore. I can not imagine this, I mean when I’m hanging ots and I’m looking to to my watch for the last 5 min because this feeling has my intention, I’m hoping that the set is over pretty soon and I also play with the thought to disconnect the way, but I never had the feeling that I can not hang anymore. It’s just soreness I think, but I always can hang until 20 min are over.

I very often never reduced the weight, basically I was hanging my max weight for all the sets (1-6 sets usually). The feeling became more intense but it was never like I felt hmm Simon, you have to reduce the weight now otherwise your penis will fall off. I hope you got me.

I forgot to say that when I put the hanger off, I do not feel sore anymore. My unit feels normal then.

Another sign of fatigue (and a good attachment) is a slight amount of retraction (penis is a little shorter) and feels like a rubber tube when lightly squeezed. This can happen within 6 to 10 hours. I know this sounds bad but I have researched this and it is normal. I sometimes take anti-inflamatory drugs to counteract the retraction so that I can continue to hang the next day. You should not get retraction all of the time as I think this can stall gains and prevent you from being able to hang. It is just an indicator that you are straining the tunica and ligaments and lets you get an idea what weight, times, and numbers of set you need to be doing to achieve fatigue. You need to walk a fine line there so that you can continue to hang comfortably. Test it every month or so and adjust your workout accordingly.

As far as always hanging for 20 minutes. If your glans in not getting hard and dark then you probably have a good attachment. If you are conditioned (6 weeks of hanging minimum) then you might want to increase the weight by 1 1/4 lbs every 2 or 3 workouts, but no more than 5 lbs per week, until you find the weight were you cannot hang for 20 minutes. I personally have started to move away from the 20 minute limit and instead I a shoot for 12 to 15 minutes. Long story as I have tried heavy, very heavy, light and now heavy BTC. I am a hard gainer and I may have gained all that I am going to gain. I keep trying to find the magic bullet and it seems that there is always another twist that needs to be tried.

I recently have begun heavy hanging with what I call strict BTC. I am trying to follow Bibs recommendations to a tee. I am also doing clamping in the AM and PM combined with careful erect bends (I have a very tough dick). I have been measuring more girth as of late but I am not going to post it to my stats until I am sure that it is cemented. I did some math and determined that on me, 1/4 inch of girth gains equate to almost 1 1/2 inches of length. I am wondering if somehow girth can eventually convert to length. With so many people here focused on gaining length first I am willing to see if there is a benefit to work both at the same time. I have nothing to loose at this point as my length gains seem to be stalled.

Math error, I recalulated 0.7” or almost 3/4. It makes more sense to me now as was a little shocked at 1 1/2”

Can you clarify what you are saying here? Do you think that the time, effort, force, or work required to gain girth is twice that of what it requires for length? Or are you saying that you must double your length gains relative to girth for the equivalent increase in volume?

Sorry for the confusion. What I did mathmatically was to calculate the volume of a cylinder using my current length and the girth after I experienced a girth gain of 1/4”. Then using my original girth and this new volume, I solved for length. This length turns out to be 0.7 inches greater than my current length.

What I meant about girth possibly converting to length is that the body seeks equalibrium in ways that are hard to predict. Maybe there is a length/girth ratio that the body tries to maintain. Just a wish as these days I am gaining girth and not much length(if any).

Although this wasn’t my point, I posted something about using volume to understand the relationship between length and girth, as we typically measure it. In my opinion, I’m doubt that girth can be converted to length, or visa versa, but I do think that examining your measurements relative to one another is a considerate observation. Cheers!

1.Does fatigue mean that you feel soreness in your penis after you have finished all your hanging for the day (so for example you still feel fatigue after 1 hour without any form of pe, so basically feel soreness the rest of the day)

2.does it only mean that you feel soreness while hanging and when you take off the weight you have not this feeling, you only get the soreness feeling back when you hang again (for example after you have finished with your hanging for the day, you feel nothing but if you would hang another set, you would feel soreness during the set again)?

To me, fatigue is a feeling of general soreness that can match either of the two descriptions you provided, one is just a lower degree of fatigue than the other. When you hurt so much that you question whether or not you can do another rep or another minute, that is exhaustion. Don’t go beyond that. Don’t workout again until that feeling is gone.

Absolutely. Beyond total exhaustion is injury, so definitely either stop for the session or day; or switch target area, if your dick is conditioned enough for continued hanging.

So in other words, when you guys put off the hanger, you feel no soreness anymore, basically you feel nothing.
