I received my hanger the other day and it looks like a real high quality item. I have followed the wrapping procedure in this forum but i just can seem to keep the damn thing from slipping onto my head. I tried to tighten it as tight as possible, but it doesn’t seem to have any affect. I also tried pulling the skin back after the wrap is applied but it seems to stick to the theraband. Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong? Or what more effective measures i can take so that i can start haning?

Sounds as if you do not have enough wrap to provide enough girth. Either that or you have the hanger adjusted too wide. Try wrapping with a couple of layers of cloth, then the Theraband on top of the cloth. This will prevent the Thera from sticking also.

If the problem was the hanger adjusted too wide, and you only want to use Thera to wrap with, then put a little baby powder made from talc on the Thera.

Did you adjust the hanger width at the bottom any? If so, are the teeth meshed on top?

I did adjust the screws at the bottom, and yes the teeth do mesh at the top ( i adjusted the top as well). The thing is i have tried tighten the screws as much as possible, but i do not feel the hold on the internal structures of the penis as you suggested it should be. I will try wrapping with cloth tonight and let you know how it goes.

You might not quite understand yet how to adjust the hanger. The actual adjustments are the hex nuts located within the right skid. After adjusting those, then you tighten the outer wing nuts down completely. They are never loose while hanging.

You cannot “adjust the top”. Only tighten the top wing nut. The teeth should not mesh completely on top.

I spent 1 and a half hours last night applying and repapplying the wraps, and trying to keep the hanger on. I tightened the hex nuts on the bottom as you said, but the hanger continued to slide over my glans. I believe this is due to one of two reasons, either my skin is very loose or i do not have sufficient girth to support the hanger. Should i be wrapping tighter and more closely to the base? I have tightened the nuts on the bottom of the skid as tightly as possible, but it doesn’t seem to prevent the hanger from slipping when i put on the weight. What should i do? attempt to hold the skin back as i hang?

First, this has nothing to do with how loose or tight your skin is. Also, if you have the hex nuts adjusted all the way in, and the hanger is totally closed on top, then you do not have enough wrapped girth. If you wrap with more cloth, and wrap with the Theraband last on top, you will soon find the correct amount, and be able to tighten the hanger sufficiently to prevent slippage.

No. Wrapping tigher will simply retard blood flow. Wrapping closer to the base will simply stretch more skin.

Increase your wrapped girth by using more wrap.

Give more information about your particular situation. Measurements, etc., and I can get you closer to where you need to be.

3.5 -4 flaccid non bone pressed
right around 4 flaccid girth
6 flaccid stretch

Are you using the regular or Starter?

If you have the regular, wrap up to about five inches, wrapped flaccid girth, and you should be fine. If it is the Starter, wrap up to at least 4.75 inches WFG.

At those girths, the hex nuts will be mostly in, and the top teeth will be slightly meshed. You should be able to toe out the front hex nut adjustment a little.
