fatty,
>The prob. is not with making the hanger, it’s if I made it wrong. When I put it on I tighten it all the way and I don’t really think it is possible for it to be any tighter, but when I pull on it a little it just starts to come off.<
Hmm, this does not sound right. I think that hanger is ok, but since I built an AFB (and later got a bib) I would not use one without a hinge. I think it is really good. On this picture, there are the sides of the hanger that curve to allow the shaft to fit in. Perhaps on your hanger, they are to wide, so it does not grip the shaft as well? I do not know much about this hanger. My suggestion is to try to fix this one (hopefully some dudes will chime in), and if you cant then build an AFB or buy a bib.
>And thanks for the LOT info. I am an 8:30-9:00. Can you recommend some hanging positions for when I finally figure out how to do it.<
Yeah sure. The best angle for you is BTC (check the glossary if you dont know what this means). Try to do as much hanging as possible at this angle, although it might take a while before you can hang all your sets BTC. Straight down while sitting is good too, plus you can work at a desk or on the PC while you do it.
Nick,
A good deed is its own reward.
Good Luck
