Hi all, tug here.

I’ve been a long time lurker/poster at Thunder’s but am a n00b hanger. I’m hoping that I can squeeze an additional inch of length from hanging and perhaps get 0.5” girth. I’ve experienced growth with manual exercises, and I expect I can similarily gain with hanging.

What kind of weights are you using now? How long have you been hanging? How much progress have you seen? Do you have funny/sad/informative stories?

It’s going to take me a while to wade through all of these posts, so I apologize if I’m asking answered questions.

I just started hanging about 3 weeks ago. Only question I can answer is the weights one. I’m hanging 5 lbs. now, and I’m using two 2.5 lb. weightlifting plates that I got at Wal-Mart. I have a mini bungee cord wrapped through the hole of the plate and over two times, so I can attach the weight to the S-hook on my Bib Hanger.

I have been hanging for 7 or 8 months now and have gained over an inch in length. The most important thing I can tell you is to listen to your dick. If it gets cold or turns purple, cut the set short. Also, make sure to tighten your hanger enough so it grabs tissue. This will ensure the majority of the pressure is applied to the ligs. As for the type of weights, I had the same question awhile back and received some great replies. Good luck, Tug!


I am also new to hanging. I have being doing PE since July with the Penimaster and manual exercises. I have gained about an inch in length since then.

I purchased a Bib Hanger 2 weeks ago. I bought my weights at Sears (two 5lbs and two 2 1/2 lbs). I am using the one 2 1/2 lbs for 3 sets of 15 min (I am actually hanging right now). I plan to go up to 5 lbs in 2 weeks.

No problems to speak of so far.

You’ll enjoy hanging. It’s a pretty effortless way to gain. Very effective too. I’m almost an inch longer since begining PE and most of it is due to the hang.
Ditto to what’s been said.
My own suggestions:

Time + Tension = Growth.
(pay more attention to time. I’ve gotten all of my gains at or under 10lbs - but I put in a lot of time)

Understand and use Bib’s LOT theory.

Expect a learning curve that is necessary and sometimes frustrating, but completely worth it.

Try not to have too much fun surfing the web while you grow :)

Tug, I’ve been hanging with the regular size Bib for two weeks now. I’m up to 7.5 pounds and average about 2 hours a day. I’ve been at PE for 6 months now, during this time I’ve gained 1 1/8 inch in length with .75” in girth.

My measurements are 7 1/8” BPEL and 5.75” in EG.

The last 1/16” in length came from the hanger during the last 30 days. I do not do very much manual stretching now. I just hang.

If I can keep this up then my goal of 8.5” EPEL will be realized in 22 months. I can live with this.

One thing that I have noticed is that my base girth is getting bigger. I think that is due to my cock being pulled out of my body slow but sure.

But, as we all know… 6 months from now my story may change. I may have found something else or incorporated other technologies to accomplish my goals.

For now the Bib works just fine.

I use my old sneaker full of change and computer screws I think it’s about 15 to 20 pounds. It’s east to add weight you just empty you pocket at the end of the day. I just went up 48 cents whooooooayeah feel the burn. Getting some good gains!

How many hours a week are you hanging?

I’ve had a hectic schedule in the past that prevented me from hanging for a consistent amount of time from week to week.

The bare minimum is 3 hours a week (2 sets of 20 minutes, 4 days a week). I’ll put off other things to make sure I get in at least that much. The most I’ve ever hung was 12 hours in one week (7 sets X 20 min X 5 days), but the average has been around 7 hours a week (5 sets X 20 min X 4 days).

I’m maxed out at 15 lbs and have decided not to increase it any more. I believe the theory that less weight over more time will help prevent excessive skin stretch at the base. This is something that is very important to me because I want NBP gains.

Glad to know that I’m not the only old-member new-hanger around! How have the three weeks of hanging treated you? I’m also using 5lbs of weight (though only one plate). I actually tested out my wench with 10lbs of weight. I found it gave me a good stretch, though it was borderlining pain as my wrapping technique was still very undeveloped and the skin was being extremely stretched in various areas. I anticipate I’ll be up to 10lbs in a handful of weeks.

I’m keeping my ears open, though. I hang in 30 minute sets. Is this too much? I read the novice guide, which says not to go over 20 minutes, but I feel fine at 30 mins. How long are each of your sets? Oh, and congrats on the inch gain! If I can gain an inch, I’ll be smiling ear to ear. If I get 1.5” I’ll be a member of the 9” club (bone pressed). PE is great!

Thanks for the welcome. Hopefully we’ll still be around and talking when we reach our goal sizes! Like you, I’m hanging at this exact moment. I find that hanging is working wonders for my procrastination. Who would have thought? I have to stay pretty motionless (can’t run around my room) while I’m wearing the hanger. It’s easy to get work done as I can’t easily distract myself with other things.

I’m guessing you’ve been hanging for some time now to get up to that weight. Give me a brief rundown of the Dino story. Your last entry in the PE database was just over a year ago and you had awesome length and INCREDIBLE girth. I can only hope to reach your size. Also, you mentioned that hanging was great for base girth. Have you noticed any other girth increases as a result?

Been hanging off and on when I have the time for about a year and a half I have only been serious the last 6 months. The bib is the only way I seem to be able to get length gains now and I need to hang for about 10 hours a week.

About the weight some of the big boys do a lot more I think at one time bigger was up 45 pounds. I started at about 5 pounds.

I used to be under dino775 on the size chart but when they changed to dino9x7 for me, my last new measurement seemed to change to a new color that was a couple months ago. 8.5x6.5 and about 6.75 at the base from hanging. I can smell 9x7 and can’t wait to hit it than it’s off to thunders retirement home where me thunder and some of the other old timers will play shuffle board and domino’s all day and talk about the good old days on the forum before they invented that penis pill that really worked.

Hanging is treating me nicely. I love it! I started out using 2.5 lbs, and I just started using 5 lbs. this week. I’m doing 3 or 4 sets of 15 minutes each. Good stuff. :thumbs:

That reminds me, I was in the gym the other day, putting on those big ass 45 pound plates for barbell squats, and I started thinking, “No way would someone want to hang this off their dick… maybe they already have?” I sure couldn’t imagine it.

Tug, I switched from manual PE this last month to hanging due to becoming self-employed, having more time and from the simple fact that I became bored with manual stretches.

God curse all employers!

I work from home these days and only have one or two appointments per day. In my field this is enough to live life.

I don’t go crazy with the career thing any longer because there is more to it than having lots of dollars. I associate with millionaires daily that are the most miserable wretched individuals you could ever meet. They always have issues with one thing or another. It’s all so petty.

Now to answer your questions.

I hang 20 minutes per set for 3 sets in the morning and same again in the evening. When I feel up to it I go for more sets. One day I may go 9 sets. Today I hit the wall and only hung for 3 sets. My dick said “No more for this day” He is my master and I shall listen.

My entire cock is looking girthy. The base does seem to be getting larger but the whole package is keeping up nicely. Well balanced is the best word. This evening when I pulled him out to take a piss I noticed he was fat, long and the veins are standing out like ole glory. I haven’t done any jelquing at all for 2 weeks because I am experimenting with getting some length before I fatten him up.

Last, manual exercises are not as intense as hanging. When I did manual stretching I went whole hog and got some fatigue now and then but nothing like what hanging does. As I write, the ligs at the base of my pubic bone are saying “I have been stressed, give me the night off”.

You’re talking bone pressed right? You’ve got a great sized unit. I can understand the desire to go larger and larger, though. Although I say I’ll be happy at 8”x6”, I know I’ll probably change my goals upon reaching them. I, like you, hang around 2 hours per day. I also manually stretch in the shower under hot water. I can tell that I get a good stretch doing this.

I remember reading some of your posts on! BTW, 45lbs is insane.. I can handle 10lbs, but not without fear of my dick falling off :) . I would have to construct a new hanger to handle that kind of weight.

Ever since I started hanging I’ve noticed my morning woods have transformed to morning irons. Has anyone else noticed this?

I do exactly what you do: 3x20 sets morning and evening. I’ve also installed a heater in my room. This cold Canadian winter wasn’t helping my PE. I think I’m going to try to do some mid-day hangs, though. If I can get my daily hanging to 3 hours (9 sets), I suspect it’ll do wonders for my gains. Time and pressure, right?

Your should try giving your cock a 5-min manual stretch under a hot shower. For some reason, when I do this, I feel as though my ligs are being thoroughly worked. At worst it’s a good shock routine to keep the ligs extended just a little longer.

You have incredible girth. I’ve often felt that between 5.75” and 6.25” is the sweet spot of girth. I’m also taking a break from the girth routine. I believe a thicker cock may not stretch as easy. Anyway, at 5.5” I’m not doing bad, though my dick feels so skinny. I’ve heard that many gain girth from hanging, so I’ll see if this is true. If it isn’t, I’ll start back with the Uli’s.
