I’ve been a lurker for quite some time now, strictly reading for educational purposes. But, it’s time I made a post, regarding hanging, but first, a bit little about my self.

I started PE’ing in 03, with 5.5 bpel. I am now 6.75 BPEL, doing strictly manual work for many years. However, I have been hanging for a few years now, since I have exhausted gains from manual work (based on previous results, I stopped around 6 inches from manual work). I think it was 1-2 years ago when I saw 6.75, but have not seen any growth. I know many don’t follow the LOT theory that Bib published, but according to the theory, and my flaccid state, I have a high LOT, around 10 or more, which means I good room for more length growth. So, I’ve been sticking to BTC as an angle, and some SD, with my back parallel to the floor, and one leg on a chair.

Now, here is why I haven’t grown in a couple of years: work + privacy. I’m 26, I live at home, and my career is 1.5hrs each way. I take the 6:28am train into the city, and don’t get home until 8ish. I also bodybuild and take care of my self cardiovascular wise, meaning, it’s time to cut up. I do all my training before work, which means I wake up around 2:30am, and get to the gym around 3:30AM. I get home around 5ishAM, and have enough time to do 1 set on my workout days (Tues/Thurs). I can do around 2-3 sets Mon/Wed/Fri. since I only do cardio those days, and get home quicker. But, I can’t afford to do anymore in the morning, and can’t do any when I get home, since I’m shot. Now over the years of my hanging, I’ve tried maintaining the strength of weight because I didn’t want to go up to weight to quickly.

But now, I’ve been thinking about the ‘Hardcore’ approach. Of course I hang in weekends, but it has to be so early that I only do around 2 sets ( I do need some sleep, since I barely have a life). I figured, if this is what I am limited to due to timing, then maybe, I should give the hardcore method a try.

What do you experienced hangers believe?

I mean yeah it’s worth a try. I’d basically up the weight by 1lb every week. But don’t do more than your penis can take. When you’re moving up weight you HAVE to be certain that you have your hanger attachment perfected or the hanger will slip which may cause an injury and you don’t want to be fucking about at high weights.

So long as you are getting good fatigue there is no need to move up weight. So just keep moving up the weight till you get fatigue I’d suggest. No need to put a load more weight on if you are achieving good fatigue in those 1-2 sets.

What time do you sleep at? Waking up at 2.30AM every day to go to the gym is insane. Maybe cut back on that and work on your dick for a while instead? Up to you.

The only other thing you could try is an ADS since! Oh and I doubt you’ll get much advise on this thread, nobody seems to hardcore hang (hanging heavy for short time periods). Everyone is convinced it will just toughen up the ligaments quickly making them stronger and harder to get gains. I’m not so sure but am erring on the side of caution. Since you have such time restrictions I’d give it a go if I was you, just be safe and you can always go a decon break if your ligaments get tough.

Make sure you keep us up to date if you do try hardcore hanging, many would be interested in the results. I think you’d probably gain decent quickly. Like 0.25 inches within 2 months and from then on it will become increasingly hard. I believe heavy hanging benefits in the short time but in the long term probably not but hey, what the hell do I know :) Just a theory.

Thunder, I plan on making the move in early 2012. Career is going well so far, right now it’s just banking everything I make. Believe me, moving closer to the city will definitely aid in my PE.

Audacia, yea, waking up 2:30am is insane to go to the gym, but it’s the only time I can make. Technically, what I do is take a NO2 drink so it wakes me up that early. Once I consume it, I go back to bed for another 30 minutes. Once it’s 3am, I’m good to go. I have some weight to lose, so I guess I need to prioritize? I’m trying to do the best I can, perhaps the move will make the biggest difference. I go to bed btwn 8-9pm.

I do use PE weights as an ADS (started 6-8 months ago). I am uncut, and using the wrap is a PITA. I’ve been able to wear the weights w/o the wrap, I just tuck the weights all the against my pelvis.

I will continue on with this hardcore approach, and keep you guys posted.

I`ve been in your position and I would not start dabbling with hanging on top of it. I did and for me, my time in the gym suffered.

I still believe that efficient manual stretches, are much more effective than hanging, provided you do have the hands for it and master the technique.

What kind of weights do you consider constitute “hard-core hanging”.

Wouldn’t a lack of sleep mean you don’t have much time to heal quickly. So if you’re doing less PE less sleep is preferable because you will stay fatigued easier.

I have always heard our bodies rebuild while we sleep. Something about the collagen only being made in the deepest part of the sleep cycle. Here is a link I have not read it fully but gives an idea. I am not trying to prove anyone right or wrong just get more info out.

Old people tend to gain easier I believe and they say it’s due to their lack of regenetive powers, they heal much slower and typically sleep less so would naturally not be in a really deep sleep for as long as younger people so heal even slower.

So less PE is needed to be done to get gains. Who knows maybe they need less sleep because they only have deep sleep where the collagen tissues grow quickly.

Perhaps if a young person PE’d a lot then had a really good sleep it may assist in growth. There are points on both sides. I’m just guessing :)

UpTo7 - Yup, that sums it up. Of course, my career come first. I guess I should be glad I currently don’t have a woman in my life, lol. I’m doing the best I can with what I’ve got.

Renholder - Actually, my gym is not suffering at all. I’ve been following this schedule for nearly 3 years now. With the help of a few OTC supplements, I’m fully awake and able to perform my weight/cardio training at 100% capacity. It’s my PE that suffers. However, I only go to the gym Tues/Thurs. I do my cardio at home, Mon/Wed/Fri, which gives me more opportunity to hang. I have been thinking about going back to manual PE, but my hands couldn’t take it after a while. I’ve been hanging for a couple of years now, and still believe that, not only is it the most effective method for length gains, but I do have potential for a good amount of length gains. However, the lack of sets is severely limiting my potential.

So, guys, I was thinking yesterday regarding my situation. Should I continue to try this hardcore hanging approach? I don’t want my penis to develop all this strength, and no gains to show for it. I’m not a man who sets New Year’s resolutions, but I have only one: I need gains!!!

Because I cannot contribute time for many sets, do you guys believe manual PE might be a better fit for me? If so, can any of you PE gurus recommend routines to follow?

I’m going to go against all the Bullshit concerned safety and say carry on hanging high weights just be vigilant and tell us if you gain!

If it does toughen up your penis you can just go on a break for a few months and it will go back to how it was at the start then you can do some light manual work. If you did manual work straight away now I doubt you’d gain from it since your dick is so conditioned from that 30lbs weight.
