Hanging?

Hanging?

I’m really thinking I want to try hanging. I want more length than anything, and don’t really have time for an extender. I figure if I get up an hour earlier, I can get three 20 min sets in before I get ready for work.

What hanger should I look at, I’m thinking of a bib starter. As well, what else do I need?

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Well, after a couple months of no gains I’m going to hang. Made myself a Capt’ns Wench this morning and will start hanging tomorrow. I got 10 lbs of weight I can use ( 4- 2 1/2lb plates) and plan on starting with 2 1/2 lbs.

Now that I’ll be hanging, should I cut out jelqs and hang only? I wouldn’t mind a little more girth, but need length much more and don’t want to mess up length gains.

You need to have the time to invest. But if you have privacy and time spent on the computer already you can effectively hang in zero time. The other big part of the equation is excellent self monitoring skills. Depending on the individual hanging can be either the safest or most dangerous form of PE.


Running a Massive Co-Front.

Well I did it. Well, kind of. Managed to get two sets in, actually one twenty minute set at 2.5 lbs and two ten minute sets at 5 lbs. I felt nothing at 2.5 lbs so I bumped it up. Had an issue keeping the wench in place so I had to break it up to reset the hanger. Keeps sliping down. As well my glans turned darker and cool, not blue and cold, but purple and cool.

It has been a while; but, purple and cool sounds about right.

Just remember that hanging has more of a learning curve than other forms of PE. And more potential for a single misstep to cause serious injury. Take your time.

Are you using two clamps on the wench?

No I was using one. I’ll try two tomorrow.

Trying two clamps right now. Got 5 lbs on there, really feeling it, and its not moving. Slid down a tiny bit when I put the weight on but that’s it. I think I need to work on my wrap.

I use a clamp I bought at home depot and modified.

The wrap is the most important part.

I have hung 12 pounds without any slipping when the wrap is correct.

You still using the clamp a-unit? I remember looking at your log and thinking that’s a good idea.

I am on a decon break at the present but intend using old faithful again when I return to hanging, possibly in the fall.

When you are talking about “sets”, how much time is allowee between each set?
