You did not miss it, so sorry but somehow it wasn’t sent, I just went through my sent messages and it is not there.

Totally my fault,
Thank you for the response and I will actually try to send it this time.

So, I have a simple question:

Would it be beneficial to start with 2.5 lbs, or should I jump right back into my max fatigue weights?

(I took 2 weeks off to heal a wound. I was hanging 15 lbs max before.) I feel like I’m wasting time with low weights, I don’t feel any fatigue, and I want to get my BPFL back.

You guys rock

Good question MrS,

Short answer, neither.

If you were at 15 lbs and took two weeks off I would come back at 10 pounds and force yourself to not add weight quicker then every third or fourth day (1 lb).

Nice job working up to 15 lbs and stay away from the injuries.

(Above advice is based on you coming back from an injury in only two weeks… if your injury is more serious, take more time off to heal completely then come back at 7-1/2 lbs).

Sounds good, 2 weeks shouldn’t be too much time to go to such low weights.
Was wondering the same thing myself, should take a decon break pretty soon, I am at 17lbs right now with not much hang time spent at it though, this actually seems to be the optimum weight range for deformation imo…

I’ve always suggested a 50% reduction in weight and time when rebounding from a set back like a blister or ligament strain, same with even taking a break for a week or more. It usually doesn’t take much more than a week or two at the most to get back to where you left off. With a blister it’s vitally important to allow that new virgin skin to become reconditioned.

What do you guys think of semi erect hanging? Ever tried it, or accidentally done it before?

Bad thing for your penis and health. When I started hanging I let some blood after the passes of wrap and it led to discoloration of my shaft skin, edema, sensitiveness and some premature ejaculation action. So imagine if you would do with semi erect, damn it might ruin your penis.

Rotated Penis? Unbalanced Ligaments? Lack of Gains through Manual Routine?

Hi guys,

I did a session today with the Bib and when I was on my second set of 20 mins at 13 lbs, I had lots of red spots on the skin and glans.

I presume this must have been due to the pressure being applied to the foreskin over the glans, but on checking now, they have all disappeared?! Even the ones on the glans.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is this normal with the Bib due to the compression?

Also - with the Bib, is that the same as clamping, but for longer periods? I’m finding that my girth is increasing simply due to the compression of the hanger.

I’m finding the more sets I do, the more squishy my penis becomes and seems to move closer to the glans, regardless of where I start.

You should go talk to bib himself into his forum for more questions.
Yes it is normal for some guys who lack wrap technique when increasing weight. There is a number of varieties that will cause those red spots.

Cheers for that, I thought that might be the case.

Just odd that it has gone completely this evening.

Will check his forum.

I get those ocasionally too because of bad wrapping/bad hanger maybe, I use a Wench by the way(DIY hanger made out of a belt and a big wrist strap, not recommendable though, Bib is the best imo). I never got them from girth work though, they can appear because of that too. Sorry for my short answer, yes I actually have pretty much all those symptoms ocasionally.

As you are clamping your Bib are you squeezing the blood out from your glans?
You should lightly snug the Bib and then squeeze you glans, while holding your glans/squeezed then snugvthe Bib a bit further.
Lightly pull the Bib toward your gland creating a shoulder and finish tightening.

Good luck and be safe,

See I’m uncircumcised and like to leave the skin covering the glans. I try to place the Bib hanger as close to the pubic bone as possible, but as the sets go on, my penis becomes squashy so always moves towards the glans.

I don’t mind as I get a good internal stretch and have increased in length so It must be working one way or another.

I was just a bit concerned with these spots because when I wiped them with some tissue there was blood on it. Yet now, it looks like it never happened.

I’ve read a few of Bib’s posts where he would just power on through and expect things like that to happen, so I guess, I was just looking for reassurance that it should be okay for me to do that.

Although I will anyway (shocking) but too addicted to the gains!

My wrap involves using a rubber silicone girth band from Lg Hanger which for some reason seems to work far better than Theraband wrap or anything else I’ve tried.

Be interesting to see how you wrap, just in case we are in the same boat which may explain it.
