Hanging 101

For me it was kind of a burning feeling, like rug burn. It can be your shaft stretching too.
What wight are you starting with? How many sets? And how far back are you setting the hanger?

For me they can get cold fairly quick and even turn very blue with heavier weights. 20 mins is the suggested time for a set because it’s a clamp style hanger and the thinking is after about 20 mins the cells start to die from lack of oxygen. Right now I’m 12 mins into my first set at 7.5 pounds and it isn’t too cold or blue yet. The other day when I put 10 pounds on it went cold and blue fast I assume it’s a mix of my wrap and getting used to a new weight. I haven’t hung 10pounds since last year before I stopped hanging. Hanging is a trail and error form of PE. You’ll get it figured out. Read and watch as many videos on it as possible. Good luck

I feel a type of burn as well and I see that my pubic area (trimmed) is being pulled down and I feel it there the most. I try to hang mid shaft and it ends up right behind the glans when hanging.

I am did 3 X 20min @5lbs

I use a small therband stip first on skin then an ace bandage on top then the clamp.

Does this contribute or help turkey neck?

Ok, I’m thinking back now and I remember feeling burning there too. It will eventually go away, give it about a week maybe a little more.

Was 2.5 pounds too light? I would suggest going to 2.5 to perfect the whole process of wrapping, placement of the hanger and general feel of hanging, it also may help the skin stretch burning.

I’ve never used thera first, I actually hated thera and went to self adhesive tape. I go with cloth from a cut up tee shirt then the self adhesive tape. There’s also ( i think xeno’s method) of using a cut scruncie, you cut to the length you need and put it on like a condom then wrap either thera or whatever you chose to use. I feel that’s a good method to start with because it’s simple.

Consider this like your getting to know week and try 2.5 or 3 pounds this way you can perfect everything else not have to focus on the weight so much.

Yes it can contribute to turkey neck. I got it on the opposite end tho.I have more of a foreskin now and my only complaint is when I get hard it’s not as tight as it used to be.

Okay I understand, I thought 2.5 lbs was too light because I did some BTC intense stretches back when I was jelqing but I just might go back to 2.5 for the sake of getting it down right. And I have turkey neck because my skin is to tight I was hoping to restore some foreskin so that the turkey neck can rest away from the shaft and stay near the scrotum.

So a cold penis after a hang sessions is normal? When should I know when to draw the line ? I haven’t turned purple or blue. Maybe a little dark red and a little cold.

Would constant heat with a IR lamp help this coldness?

What are you hanging with? A Bib or similar hanger is going to cut off circulation, which is why 20 minute sets are highly recommended, since that is when tissue death begins. So yeah, it will get cold and is perfectly normal. This is why you need to lightly jelq after each set to restore blood flow. An IR lamp will be helpful in deep tissue penetration and should help with growth. Be careful not to cook your nuts.


Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!

Did you come across any TN experiences? Any foreskin restoration ?

I never used an IR light, but here’s a good read: Using Light to get Heavy - INFRARED

Unfortunately, I found that as my dick grew, so did my TN. Bib told me I needed to wrap to the base to prevent more of it from occurring but it never helped. I honestly think the only way to correct that is surgery. As for foreskin restoration, I have zero interest in that.

I see, did you ever find girth gains to be easier after hanging Schlong? See the thing is, I sit at 7bpel and wouldn’t mind another half inch to be 7 EL.
But.. I did find my girth to be quite difficult to gain. Maybe 1/16 through clamping and what not.

Do you have to use an ads stretcher after hanging or does it not really matter?

I gain girth easily, all off those gains came through pumping and recently clamping mixed in. Since I’m back to hanging 3sets a day I’m pumping and clamping much less. I’ve gotten about 3/4 of an inch in girth over 2.5 years. And I’m finally in the “zone” where I stay pumped up well into the next day, so maybe it’s now becoming permanent. The question is are they cemented, I don’t know because I stick to a routine and when I go on a decon I usually have EQ and turtling issues. Odd I know but true. Although now that I think about it back in May I did a 30 day decon and my girth stuck around it was more like a 1/2 an inch. It was my flaccid that wasn’t as girthy as usual.

Down the road as you feel more comfortable with your routine you can give pumping a try but don’t do it now. Just get used to hanging for now.

Very interesting Kings, see I have a pump myself but it’s because of all the things I’ve hear about pumping (it’s all fluid buildup, you can’t gain from pumping it’s only temporary) that I’ve really never gave it a shot. And besides the fact that my TN made my penis stick to the bottom of the tube because of a lack of foreskin.

Everyone is different, there are a lot of guys here that gained from pumping it just needs to be part of a routine not a stand alone. That’s my feelings anyway.

I see, I might try it out soon then after I’m satisfied with hanging gains.

So after 2 days of hanging I had very good morning wood this morning and my flaccid is hanging heavier today. Is that normal with hanging?

I heard that hanging actually kills EQ. which it does for me but ONLY right after hanging and not the next day.
