Hello Just bought a Bib Hanger, Going to get into hanging. I tried hanging before but unfortunately because of my ignorance I went about it the wrong way. I did gain 1/2 of an inch length which is great. But I need to gain 2 inches more.

My Quest for posting this is this.. I keep hearing through so many hanging threads to keep adding weight by 1 pound increments when you quit hitting fatigue. What do you use to add 1 pound? I have 2.5 pound weights and 5 pounds. Eventually when I get up into higher weight I will buy a 10 pound so on.. Are there 1 pound weights I could get and attach to the hanger hook? What do you guys use?

I have heard that some people use boots and fill up with quarters and change and stuff, But doing it that way you don’t really know how much weight your really doing. Anyone know where I can buy 1 pound weights? Or what you guys use? Thanks alot I appreciate it.

Well, if you must have scientifically measured weights you can try out fractionalplates.com. Be advised they are not cheap though.

I purchased plates for assembling dumbbells at a local sporting goods store. They come in 1 1/4, 2½, 5, and 10lb.

I wouldn’t worry about it. My opinion is that so long as you’re not jumping to a ridiculous weight right off the bat, and provided you have done the newbie routine long enough to have built up some resilience, then increase in 2.5 pound increments. That really isn’t a huge change.

Ah ok, So it’s ok to jump up by 2.5 pounds? =). My goal and objective was to do this, This is my attack plan. I am going to start at 5 pounds. I am going to hang for 2 hours a day. Probably going to hang BTC. 20 minute sets, 10 minutes in-between. My goal is to get up to 25-30 pounds as safely as as I can, But as fast as I can. From all the research and threads I have read this is where people begin to really see gains. Even up to 45+ pounds. But I want to stick to the 20 minute range. After my hanging session I got a Neoprene cock ring that I will be using as an ads. I did some research on it, And these are all day comfortable cock rings to keep you expanded a little bit. That would be absolutely perfect for an ADS. But if anyone has any other suggestions I am listening.

You really should do more research. Especially in the area of “riding the fatigue”. You don’t have to jump up to 25+ lbs as fast as you can in order to get gains. The idea is to get to a weight, that fatigues you on the 2nd or 3rd set. You should then have to drop down in weight in order to continue sets. Again ideally you should use the minimum amount of weight that will allow you to reach fatigue relatively fast. There’s no reason to increase the risk ( increasing weight) without an appropriate increase in reward (gains). There’s not much information that says a fast jump in weight will result in fast gains, but infact there’s a lot of information that says just the opposite. It took bib 2 years to reach 45 lbs, and that was after a LOT of experience.

By the way a jump from 5 lbs to 7.5 lbs, a 50 percent increase, without an adequate breaking in period will be a very intense change when hanging btc.

I have a relatively cheap halter set with 3 set of plates: 0.5, 1.25 and 2.5kg. The nuts to lock the plates are probably around 1/3 kg. I don’t think it would be hard to find a similar set or just the plates.

OK. New here. I have a penis stretcher and have been using it on and off for a total of 3 months. I have gained about 1/2 inch. I have also been doing some jelqs and have seen some girth gains. I would also like to combine hanging into my routines to finish off my 10hr daily routine of the stretching device. What would be the best product to buy for hanging, where would I buy it and how do I go about it?

Vic 20 makes a good point, but I think it isn’t so relevant in this instance.

A 2.5 pound increase on top of 5.0 pounds is indeed a 50% increase. By the same logic, jumping from one ounce to one pound is a 1500 % increase, but I think none of us would say it is moving too quickly to jump from one ounce directly to one pound—because, afterall, the total weight hung is quite small. In other words this huge increase by percentage to a trivial weight is also trivial.

Few people would say it’s safe to make a 1500% increase to ten pounds. So percentage adjustments are safe or not safe depending upon the actual loading one is adjusting.

My opinion is that ramping up at 2.5 pound increments, at any loading, is ok. No need to find fractional pound weights. Just don’t ramp up so quickly that you get from 5 pounds to much higher weights too quickly.

Thanks for the info =), I have a question though. So far from my hanging experience I really felt it hitting the ligs at first. Now after time I don’t feel it at all in my ligs unless I raise my feet up higher hanging from BTC. Does anyone else feel this?
