Hanging Routine

Should I add something to my routine?

Current Routine: 5-10min warm up with heat pad, 20min hang(bib) with 10 pounds, 10min heat pad, 10 pound 20min hang, 10min heat pad.

I do 5-6 day on 1-2 day off. So far, no gains. Took my one month measurement yesterday, but still stuck at 6 7/8 BPEL

My hanging routine only consists of 20 minutes of hanging and I do that four times a week. I add weight instead of adding sets. I did not get any results until I changed my hanging angle so I think that you should experiment a little with that. If you just started with hanging I think 10 pounds sound a little too heavy so maybe you are overdoing it.

If you’re able to hang the same amount of weight twice in a row it could imply you’re not reaching fatigue.

I previously did allot of ads/hanging with golf weights, along with golf weight fulcrum stretching, and downward plump jelqing (new jelq city stretches). I figured the heating was doing allot, but maybe I’m just not fatiguing.

I’m getting good PI’s, but no gains yet. Should I switch to less weight more reps? Or would adding ads golf weights throughout the day be a good idea?

Thanks, I’ll switch it up for the next month and see how it goes.

Congratulations! That’s great. It looks like hanging broke your plateau. A friend of mine who has been extending for 5 years just did the same thing. He gained 2” BPEL with his extender, and just couldn’t gain any more no matter what he did. He gained .25” after a few months of hanging, and he was ecstatic… I only mention that because it so similar to your story.

Thats great news man, congrats! Im experimenting with hanging atm. I am just using an AFB hanger which is okay for what I am hanging with now (2.2lbs) but am going to buy a bib starter very soon to start properly hitting it up. What did you change in your routine to get the results in the end?

I dropped down to hanging 8 pounds and I added two sets. I also heat via heating pad before and after every set, so I also doubled my heating time.

A lot of guys swear by heat. I’ve seen enough people get results from heat to know it’s probably not just in their head ;)

I sometimes add heat between sets, but I don’t have a constant heat source (or the patience) to always do that. Someday I may have to try it.

Yeah, I use the 10 minute break in between sets to heat. You should run by walmart and pickup a reusable microwavable heating pad. Mines called Thermipaq. Pop it in the microwave for a minute and you’re ready to go.

Excited about month 2 measurement coming up on the 23. I can physically see gains in flaccid length and girth

Did you gain anything more? I have been using an infrared lamp because I want to try and target my septum by heating it under tension, no gains yet…need to do more research to find out when to move up the weight, even moving it up .5kg feels like so much!
