Hey guys, I may be posting in the newbie forum but that is due to a lack of posts.

I’ve been hanging for about 6 months consistently, and didn’t see any gains. Only recently did I realize that my technique has been wrong; being an uncut guy, I chose to use a vacuum system. However, whenever I set up the hanging I DIDN’T pull my foreskin all the way back. Recently I started doing it and can now feel it much more in my internal ligs, as opposed to the external muscle/skin. Due to this I’ve also noticed that the weight I can handle is significantly decreased.

My concern is, due to my previous bad habits are my ligs too tough now to get any benefit from proper hanging technique? I guess only time will tell but I was hoping some vets had knowledge of how this would affect my future progress.

I doubt it, especially since you can feel the difference in your ligs now with proper technique. How much time/weight are you hanging?

I’m doing 2x20mins in the morning (10 mins per exercise, SO; SD; OTL; BTC), then I ADS for 5-7 hours and then finish with another 2x20 set at night before bed.

Hanging at 5 lbs right now and can feel the stretch really in my ligs, totally different sensation from before

Furrymonster, I think you will be fine. What’s more is I think your now on the right track.

I believe that most guys who don’t gain from hanging can blame that on bad wrapping and bad technique.
